The new committee as of the 2011 AGM promoted themselves as the saviour of the SAAFL and promised to turn things around. This would go down as one of the biggest cock-ups in the history of the league, and when it fails they should be held accountable.
Really proves just how much respect the powers that be have for the lower divisions.
Look forward to seeing your nomination come next AGM
as for one of the biggest cock ups in history, I would think that is a slight over reaction
You take things on face value and hope they will be competitive, yes we get it wrong like letting one side get relegated 3 times in Div 6 before making them go to Div 7
I just think that Ovingham should of been the A grade team and UniSA start as the B grade team. That way if the Uni team fall over after a few rounds at least it is only the B grade game that is being forfeited on the day not the A grade game.
I look forward to EM sly sarcastic attack on my club now.

your alright
You forget that I come from a Club who started off in Div 7 and in 2009 were also in Div 6
Trust me I know the frustrations of being in the lower grades
To shed some light as to why the reason is that Uni SA want to have 2 sides in 2014, thats why they were put is the D7 side. Ovingham have been a 1 team side for many years and have not informed the SAAFL of any intention to go to 2, hence they were put in D7R
In an ideal world the D7 comp would be for A and B Grade sides only
Hopefully that happens in the next couple of years but until then you have to make things fit and the reality is you really cant run an 11 team comp, which is what would happen if they were both made to play in the C Grade comp as C1-4 all have 10 teams that have nominated
The other thing here to remember is that the proposal is put up by the SAAFL; The Clubs voted this in last night
