We have our Ladies Day planned for that day. KFC and SAAFL won't reply to our queries. Should we be worried?
Ladies Day = important financial and associated benefits for our club.

I'm sure you're social event is number one priority for the Kilburn committee and big wigs at SAAFL house.

Well it should be. Well run clubs organise events well in advance and in div 3, or any division for that matter, no club should have to worry about whether there will actually be a game on or not. It's not normally top of the checklist of things they need to consider on the day

I spoke to Robo after the game (know him since he used to coach Iggies) and whilst he was realistic about where they were at, at no stage did he talk about Kilburn pulling out during the season. To be fair to the Kilburn faithful, the mound men came out to watch and there were a few others around watching and helping out. Hope for their sake that they can keep a team together and build from juniors over coming years.

what was the score

heard that Kilburn B Grade have forfeited the first 2 rounds
not good signs for the rest of the year in the D3R comp
may have to start looking at alternative games for curtain raisers

More regurgitating of the same crap..

Why not look at the positive - at least at this stage they haven't ruled out a B grade and are still working hard towards it! Last week you blokes had them folding or in the C divs!

You been living under a rock or something?! Ovingham never ended up going to Kilburn, their committee actually decided stuff it was easier to completely dissolve, they had a garage sale and sold all the clubs stuff as well. Kilburn picked up 1 player from Ovingham - the rest went to TOS and Walkerville.. pretty sure it's been mentioned a dozen times previously..

Do the rules say that if you forfeit 3 times in any grade your whole club is out of for the rest of the season? Hopefully for Kilburn's sake they can get enough guys to make up a B grade side - even if it means getting belted every Saturday

Think it's that the SAAFL hold the power to remove that side from the division.

Last year Kilburns C grade pulled the pin after 3 or 4 rounds, as a result remaining games became a forfeit win to the other club.
