Hey Choccie has the big rig been playing lately for GG or has he had another injury setback? will he play next season?

Played a few weeks ago under duress but missed this week and the rumour I have heard is the big rig has been parked on the side of the road for the rest of the year. As for next year, well no-one knows but hopefully he decides to work hard and help the Burra's tackle Div 4 in 2010. I know that I definitly would have liked to see how we would have gone with him fit and contributing at FF for the entire year.....

And adding to that we'd all love to have the big fella continue to wear the Burra guernsey for as long as he wants. He's been good to have around the club, comes out to watch and support and is liked by everyone there.

Yeah Tommy has had a great year. Along with J.Box and Jay Hoklas up forward we have 3 pretty useful small crumbing forwards. Just need a big rig up there to help them

FF - any reason Anton Railey is used off the bench? Impact player - you lifted when he was on the ground and dropped when he went off. Could be a very good player if he kept his head. Going after James Dalwood just hurt Pooraka as he took his mind off the game

Does Chris Adams put Savlon on his burnt feet every Saturday night? Gees he's quick!!

We tend to rotate our midfield off the bench. It was also his 1st week back from his 3 week holiday.
Well now you know why he his in our side. Alot of other teams bag him and say he shouldn't be in our side, but you saw first hand what he can do for us.
Yes when were all iceing our hammy's etc. Chris Adams has his two feet in a bucket of ice. Awesome pickup for us. Would think he would have a good showing in the medal this year.

He just needs to concentrate on playing footy. Nothing tough in losing games or getting sent off

Fitzroy v PAOC by 5 pts Match Of The Round will see the Red's who want to bring out their best when they take on the Lions as the winner will grab second spot & a home final.

Plenty at stake this weekend with the Kooka's & Dragons ready to take full advantage of any slip up's.

I see Newchurch from Salisbury West has been rubbed out for 3 weeks. Means he will miss the first week of finals. That could cost them. Anyone know what happened?

Newchurch got three for striking.
The umpire that booked him gave us two yellow cards and a red, in the space of about ten minutes, to three different players.
SW have been a very dicsipline this year but that particular umpire was hot on any of our players.
He stated to one of our players to go easy on the tackling???

Yeah they can come up with some interesting calls. We had on of our players sent off in the last quarter on the weekend. When the player asked what he had done, the umpire replied "i'm sending you off for intimidation!"
What the hell kind of call is that??? It came from the umpire that looks like Lance Whitnall.
