We have some of the highest profile sponsors in SA but their logos were never put on the guernsey, and neither have they insisted on it, or made it conditional of their support. Says something about the standing of the sponsors we have, compared to some of the people we have to deal with.....
Some of us wanted to put an opposition logo on it as well, but that was deemed to be not the right thing to do as we stick to our principles. That WE logo remains the only one on it.

Hopefully Thebby... If Pooraka knock off Fitzroy this weekend we will most likely play you guys in the qualifying final.

I would be thinking PAOC want to steer well clear of Thebby come finals time...they seem to get a bit wobbly at that place...

I could be wrong... but I was sure I read somewhere (most likely in the back of the fixtures booklet) that to host a final at your clubs ground there are certain standards that need to be met. One being a fence around the ground?? Also facilities etc. If not maybe it's because it cost $1000 to have a final played at your home ground, and PAOC have no real bar facilities, it would not be financially viable for them?? What logo are you talking about? "WE"? Pooraka played home a home final 2 years ago and I don't remember having to change any logo's.

Yeah well, my point exactly............ you are a bit slower today than usual
and, yes, sorry about the Mark Williams tag - the best thing about Port re-signing him is that Collingwood wont have to look at him as an assistant

I dont know about the fence
$1,000 - yep, that'd break us. We have the bbq and esky trailer that has never run out even with the Portland lads thereWE = local crap they call beer - West End - you have to wear it and sell it. We would not wear the logo last year

I guess when you have won 1 flag in the last 55 years and lost 25 grand finals in your clubs history you get a bit complacent ey Jimmy ?
