One of our A grade players ran water for the B grade, he dropped his phone on the field. It was then alleged that a Salisbury West Player picked it up and shoved it in his sock. This came from a spectator who at the time didn't realise what was happening.

If this story is true, it is very poor form. It seems almost ridiculous. Please tell me it is not possible.

Has anyone rung him for his side of the story?

Great way to finish off a disappointing year for us yesterday knocking off the Jets!
They kicked 20 behinds which hurt them, but we played really well.
They will need to recruit a few to avoid finishing in their usual 8th place next year.
Hopefully we have a good year next year with new coach and will be back in Div 4 soon!!
Good luck in finals boys!!!

I think you'll struggle to find any of us getting on here pre-season and blowing our bags... Plenty of others did enough of that for us before seeing what we had to offer !! But as I hinted this year was never going to be a walk in the park as many suggested and finishing 6th was proof of that.
Congratulations to the 5 teams that have made the finals... all very worthy.
We live, we learn and we come back year with a little more experience. ;)

Anyway, we didn't make it and we are disappointed but we play again next year and build on this year.

It usually takes a couple of years when you go up

Speaking to a couple of Acres people yesterday - just as disappointed. They thought they had the cattle but had a few injuries and then disappearances.....

I guess in the end not having our 100 goal full forward all year unsettled us and didn't help what we were trying to achieve but there are still 21 blokes out there so you just have to work with what you have available. In the big fellas absence plenty of others have had to step up, mature quickly and fill different roles so that helps build a winning team in the end.

Can't help thinking back to that Greenacres game that we threw away.....

It's not all bad... Great effort 1st year up. Your reserves look in a good spot for a flag.

First draft of this weekends finals venues are out. Has PAOC V Pooraka being played at Thebarton. Hopefully last years yips at Thebby come back to haunt them again this year! ;)
Fitzroy take on Salisbury West at Fitzroy oval.

Congratulations to CBCOC for finishing minor premiers and commiserations to Golden Grove for just missing the finals.

Good luck to all teams involved in the finals!

Also I think you will find LM and myself have tied for this years Div 4 tipping! Bad kicking by Unley has allowed LM to get the final game of the year correct. What about the comp you were running Jimmy? The one with what teams will finish where etc?
