Must be tough task masters at your club mighty hounds, I thought No 14 Richardson was outstanding and couldn't get in the best players. :D

Dj was the best but who cares. When you win by 14 goals or so there are no best players!
BOS premiers, big ground, small ground whatever like I said l, great club, great players, great people !

Just looked at their team and Rossies are 2 players off their best. With A's and B's in the big dance the train from earlier in the season is gunna be super hard to stop. Start worrying Hounds. :D

Lol. Alot more grand final experience in the hounds team to worry about rosewater.

I reckon Blackfriars would be dreading playing Rosie's this week! Small ground , contested footy, cant run to as much free space and expose pace like they have been and the only side to give them a hiding this year.
Blackfriars won by a few on the return when Rosies out of form. Blackfriars had West Croydon's measure, Grand Final Experience will count for nothing, this isn't Afl or Port Magpies from the 80's and 90's

50 / 50 game now and Rosies have had everything they could have ask for in regards to the size of oval, both sides still alive to train and had 3 good hit outs with minimal injuries

I just wish Cj Blacks was still around the club!!

The only thing BOS are dreading is having to go to work tomorrow.
I enjoyed reading this on Friday and then again this morning. :D

Who goes to work on a Monday after a grand final?

I had to work the Sunday after our 2010 premiership win. Wasn't a good day....

Congrats to Lockleys in the reserves as well on their flag, had been the pacesetters for most of the year and after almost coffing it up the big fella up forward realised a lifetime dream and kicked a beauty to put his team in front with 30 seconds to go.

Just a question to the Locks guys, I see you have advertised for a coach, is Chris not going on or is it constitutional. Found him to be a super guy in our encounters this year.

I was at the Archer on Saturday night, when all the Blackfriars boys rocked up.
I had a drink and a chat with quite a few of them.
They were all great lads, and were enjoying the night.
Congratulations Blackfriars.

BOS have every reason to be satisfied, they were outstanding on Saturday.. Such a hard running side who uses the ball so well. Ominous signs early on in the game with Rosies hanging in at qtr time, but it got blown wide open in the second qtr and that was curtains.. Thoroughly deserved

The B grade going down as well capped a nightmare of a day all round

Well done BOS! Great year and thoroughly deserved. Really good bunch of lads down there, more than happy for them to get the chocolates.

Also well done to the Lockleys B Grade. I guess that hunch of mine was correct eh!

Commiserations to Rosies but they also had a great year, I think perhaps another tilt at some clever recruiting and they will be right up there in D5 next season.

Thanks to all and sundry for season 2014! It was obviously a battle for us but we played every game, never gave up and tried our best. Honestly impressed with every club we came against in regards to your humility, restraint and tact. I don't think the same could be said for some of the other clubs in higher divisions, we have a great little community down here.

Onwards and upwards. :D

Assume so but to be honest that's ludicrous considering their year.

More importantly, wtf happened between the end of the year and now for CU to lose all their points?

One would think that common sense would prevail and that if Central United had in fact done something, the better approach may be to dock them points from the start of season 2015 (rather than this year), similar to what happened with Salisbury West (speaking of which ...)

They copped 12 games worth of suspensions this year which means 12 points docked, but that still leaves them with 4 points, so not sure how\why they lost another 6?

So you assume their 'punishment' is to go down to Div7 next year? .....

Doubt it, it's not really a punishment and it would be pretty harsh to make Angle Vale stay up.
