Exactly right Jimmy.
would love the hundreds of thousands of dollars GG got for new rooms, just impossible in Parklands.
- not having a crack at GG btw, all the best to them, supports 100's of people out that way playing footy!

We have the same problem - the ACC wont let us fart in them without 5 years of submissions

Maybe we can get my mate Mike Rann to declare them major projects and build something that is, at least, half decent

build the new 60,000 seat stadium @ Park 9 ;) ;)

Was obviously out at Campbelltown today supporting our reserves side, and I just want to say a huge congratulations to the Pooraka B grade who knocked of a very good Golden Grove outfit to make the Reserves Grand Final next week. I know you generally judge a club by their senior side, but our b's have been a tight unit all year and deserve to experiance a gf next weekend! Congrats to PAOC today who were easy winners over the Roys. The Roo was a huge difference up forward for PAOC and I hope he plays next week to make one rip snorting GF!

If Roo plays next week PAOC by 16 pts.
If No Roo, CBC by 24 pts.

Also for those who are interested, Pultney and Westminstor up into div 4 next year and Salisbury and Woody South's down!
Good mix!

Good Luck to the four Grand Finalists next week! And Come on you Bulls! :D

Nah well done to the Pooraka boys today in the B's. Thouroughly deserved their win and just wanted it more. Although I'm disappointed with our lads and their performance we have to look to next year now and try improve.

On a good note it was nice to meet turk and Ray Borner and have a chat. Both top fellas.

Good luck to the teams playing next week anyway. I'll continue to drown my sorrows. ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Is that a fair assesment DE ?

Someone from PAOC can answer this - Are PAOC a better side than last year ?

I havent seen them play this year, but looking at their side, i wouldnt think they are.

Is D4 weaker this year than last ?

I havent seen any D4 games this year at all.

General consensus yesterday from the PAC, CBC, Fitzroy and SW blokes I spoke to was that it is a much tougher competition this year, plus PAOC 2009 would comfortably beat 2008 even without Roo or Modra.

Key areas:

Will Dalwood in ruck - we struggled in ruck badly last year although James absolutely dominated the ruck yesterday
Much tougher on ball - the one armed bandit at CHB has allowed Phillips to play onball and Matto coming good in the 2nd half
We struggled with pace last year - much quicker this year with a far better spread of runners

Pretty general comment, but most 2009 D4 sides other than Unley and North Haven would beat their teams last year

Going to be a good game next week - let's hope its dry and on a big oval, if just to keep the spectators apart - bit of bad blood last week

Any truth in the rumour CBC have had another key player with a late transfer to Greenacres? ;) ;) ;)

I was there-saw the last quarter of the B Grade. Stood outside the clubrooms all day swapping crap with the Fitzroy lads - they were selling Coopers from there :-k :-k In fact, I was the last to leave with Rocky, OB and Robin the Hatchet :drinkers: :Hangman: Had to go see Guy Sebastian this morning to retrieve my car

Thanks to those that supported the Breast Cancer Foundation...funny thing tho...blokes seem keener to support than women...HMMMMM
We have more interest in them ;)

fitzroy you should be embarrassed with some of your supporters, the amount of stick and shit sledging Roo got was ordinary to say the least. im not sure why he would bother turning up for next season if thats the crap he has to put up with. it was a disgrace my young son was asking me why are they swearing at Riccutio and just had to tell him there morons who wouldnt be fit to wipe his ass (well i didnt quite say that).Could not believe it.
