I can confirm this is the case, which is rather unfortunate.

Very disappointing for the dozen or so players who guts it week in week out, get belted from pillar to post, yet play for the love of the game and club. Hopefully only a problem for this week only.

Most of the year has been very good, usually a full bench with emergencies every week, unsure why this week the numbers are so low.

As Groover said numbers all year have been very good. With most weeks people missing out on a game. I think the early game actually suits most of our C graders so this week them having to play at 2:15 may not suit due to prior commitments. Lucky for us only Nth Haven did not want triple headers..........

Trinity seem to be struggling for C graders at the moment and I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled the pin in the next couple of weeks going on last night's effort.

Full credit to the blokes that did rock up and did their club proud. The other "no shows" should have a good look at themselves and realise they're letting their team mates and footy club down. Some of them said they were available, then just didn't rock up! Their coach was very apologetic and embarrassed.

If it wasn't such a big occasion, I have no doubt they would have forfeited which would have seen them removed from C5. The blokes there were willing to do it to as well as they were fed up with their team mates letting them down again!

Plympton won by 11 goals...

Where did I say it was "North Havens fault"? I clearly said that the players in our C grade suit the early game not a 2:15 game and that its lucky only you blokes dont play triple headers.
If I remember correctly the league was going to change the way the C grade comp was set up this year which would have lead to less triple headers and could have really impacted on our numbers for a C grade team.

What bigshow is getting at is they originally had HV, Plympton and Adel Luth in C4, which would have only given those clubs the chance to have 4 triple headers for the year. The same for other clubs who remained in C5 (BL being one of them). I think they also had North Haven in C6 at one stage.

If that had have happened, BL's C grade might have been in jeopardy this year with mostly late games and not many triple headers
