Pooraka- coghill (FF) paradiso (mid) no1-dunno know his name, lightning quick though (mid) bowden (hbf)

Number 1 for us is Chris Adams.

Hard to comment on other teams as I don't know the names of the players. HIt the nail on the head with Roys players though: Bourke, Buss and Nelson easily their 3 best players. Pearce is ok also, but very short tempered. Neate bobs up with a couple a game, he could sneak in their also.

Agree with tall bloke from AL. n.o. 7 I reckon. Unfortunately he played on me when we played them last. His reach was very inspector gadget like! Salisbury West had a host of good forwards, best prob being the lad that was suspended late in the year.

Number 13 for PAOC was pretty decent. Seems to get alot of the ball in the back half, and has a big left foot kick. Didn't see him on Saturday though. Did he play?

Both wingman for CBC very good too.

What is the team of the year? Is it the best 22 players, or best 22 consistent players over the year?

My argument would be how does Roo miss out?!

Roo hasn't played enough games to be warranted for selection I wouldn't think.

Just coz he is an 8 time All Australian doesn't make him an automatic walk up to the Div 4 team of the year. ;)

Just coz he is an 8 time All Australian/Brownlow medalist/premiership player/captain of "italian team of the century" doesn't make him an automatic walk up to the Div 4 team of the year. ;)

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Now that does make him an automatic selection.

Yep No. 7 - Rowan Miegel from Adel Luth. has to be in there!
I'd say maybe Matty Koenig as well, plays on ball and half back, gets heaps of the ball- made the Div 4 side last year in the BP and had a better year this year. Our only two chances.
I'd add Petersen from GG, maybe Hall or Chettle from Unley

Can only think of those 2 because we played Unley in the last game and they were clearly best 2. and their names were in the paper a fair bit

Should be a cracking game this week. CBC have been the best team all year and deserve to go in favourites but will they win the big one? I must say well done to PAOC on having 3 teams reach grand finals and I think the A grade is a better team than last year even without Roo and have a huge chance. Can't wait to see how it pans out. Also great effort by Pooraka B grade on reaching the final. Massive improvement from last year when they were often on the end of some beltings! Good luck to the lads!
Good to meet you last week to Choccies and bad luck to your mob.The club has a big future with all the talented youngsters you have up there.

Yeah ditto mate. And you're spot on. Well done to PAOC but I think they may only take 1 win away from the weekend. I have to back our C grade side in obviously, I think the B's will be too good for Pooraka and the Dolphins should win the A's but all I know is it's gonna be a looooooong day...
We'll have a frosty friend and chat during the B's if you're not getting too excited that is !! Be good to meet FF if he is there too... missed the last few times
