I must say after seeing CLG yestrday and speaking to 1 of there senior players that they pretty much were full strengh yesterday. You say it may be smart coaching Robran, I can confirm otherwise. I personally thought there coach is not up to it. CLG definately have the cattle but play a very predictable game plan, chiping to the same players evreytime and putting them under pressure causing turn overs. It happened time and time again. Harvey the superstar was not seen all say and you could've counted his possesions on 1 hand. How did you see the game scottroo?? Lockleys by far played there best game for the year, and will trouble a few sides should they make it through next week. Must say WC are a massive chance this week if clg play the same gameplan as yesterday.

End of A Grade game Trinity runner gets king hit smashed in the face with a fist. We r told that it was Mitchell Parks B Grade coach #4. After he had hit our runner in the face he then didnt walk away but proceeded to ask and challenge who wanted to be next.

I really feel sorry for the guys at Mitchell Park that are decent people, but it doesnt say much for the club when after 1 game an official is saying the club doesnt condone that type of behaviour then straight after another game its the B Grade Coach (someone the club has appointed as a role model for the club) goes and does a disgraceful act like that!

Witht these incidents happening week after week, wouldn't you think the SAAFL would send an official out to watch Mitchell Park, and tell them to either shape up or they can leave the competition??

Are these incidents being reported each week? That generally forms a basis for an investigation by the SAAFL, but too often, I have seen umpires witness thuggery and not take an appropriate course of action.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

i know heccies made a complaint about the umpires against mitchell park and i would think that in the complaint, we would have talked how the umpires werent in posistions to see these incidents.

dee man u poor bugger, surely this weekend cannot come quick enough for you, you have tried your heart out to get this club on the right track, but it seems they dont give a s*it , there are certain players that keep letting you down (one being the B grade coach , "what a discrace" ) you deserve so much better, good luck to you in whatever you do next year mate.

For Legal reasons i have to be very limited now as to what i say regarding saturdays events. I believe it is on video tape, and both a complaint will go to the SAAFL, also legal action i believe will be taken.

As i said before i feel really sorry for the decent guys that r at Mitchell Park trying to clean the club up week after week and then idiots continue to bring the club down, but unless you stop these players from playing then nothing will change. If i was Lockleys id be talking to the SAAFL regarding them have someone out there to watch the game not that i think that would stop some of them.

Massive game this week Trinity vs BL in the B grade. BL win and they are guaranteed finals. If they lose, BL will rely on MP beating Lockleys which looks highly unlikely. Hopefully a couple to return for our B's, will be a test as Trinity seem to play really well on their home turf.

Trinity Girl, how are your teams shaping up this time of year? Getting players back/resting any players before finals?

i have heard (from a not very reliable source  ) that BL are going to drop a couple of A graders down for this match. i think BL would be more concerned on working on a few things esp with a week bye between this match and finals though

Maybe he saw that Walts played in the B's on the weekend and assumed the worst.

If Payney had a half a brain he'd drop Browny for a week though - couldn't catch a cold last week, I was told.

Not only couldnt he catch a cold, if he did manage to get a hold of it he definitly couldnt kick it straight.

Im pretty confident that no a grade players will be dropped down just so the b grade can win. There isnt much point doing this anyway because we would loose them the following week and get belted if thats what we needed to make the finals.

There is absolutely no chance Payney will drop players back, that is fraughting (sp?) with danger and showing disrespect to the Trinity A grade. They are a formidable unit and if the A grade go in 5% down, they will lose. The B grade will put the team we have had all year out there, and hopefully get a couple back from injury. We want to make the finals by ourselves and not rely on help from the A grade. If this was the case, we would have done this previously. We have beaten Paralowie, Lockleys and Hectorville (early in season) with no help from the A grade so we will stick to what we have, which has got us this far, and get ourselves there (hopefully). Looking forward to a massive game played in good spirits.

Browny was dead set useless. Couldn't mark, didn't chase and kicked the footy like it was a balloon. Lucky to be playing this week I reckon ;) However I did see him drop a glass on Sunday (after a few beverages mind you) then catch it before It hit the floor. Maybe his touch is returning. Just needs to be half cut to catch something.

Also on the A graders playing B grade, it also sends out the wrong message to our fringe B graders (namely me) who have busted their gut all year, been to most training sessions and do all the hard yards, then get dropped just so we could make finals. It would be shattering and I could not blame them if they went somewhere else if this happened. I am of the philosophy .that you back who you have, believe that each can do the job no matter what situation that you face.

I heard a rumour J Simpson is playing for Trinity reserves and played C grade earlier in the year? can anyone confirm this? He's a left footed goal kicking midfielder... has been a quality A grader since he was 17... I watched him win the 2008 MFL A Grade premiership off his own boot in the last quarter... find it hard to believe he can't get a game in Div 6 A grade... please let us know if anyone has more info!

interesting to read your thoughts on clg.i disagree that the coach is not up to it for he seems to me to be a very foward thinker of the game.eventhough if you had seen my comments on grass roots a couple of weeks ago you would have heard me some them up pretty much like you have.the problem as i see it is they are coached and drilled to play this outside footy by coaches who played the same style.maybe if they were able to keep this same list but a new direction where they were able to switch to both styles when needed they would do alot better.then again what do i know.dont have the best results on the board myself.
