Not sure exactly, the council did have something to do with applying for the grant from state/federal governments. I believe Para Hills' new lights are under the same banner, and the new Soccer Park at Burton. Northern Districts CC are interested in playing T20s underlights I believe which was the main reasoning for them being pushed for so hard.
We recently (last year) had new lights installed on existing poles and it was > $20k.
They were never intended to be playing standard but they are a lot better to train under.
Pretty damn expensive to upgrade to playing standard lighting. Would estimate well north of $100k
