Wouldn't be a massive shock if they did, the gap last year between the top sides and the rest was massive, they were as good as the best on their day and if they've added extra quality they'll be very difficult to beat.

they can go through undefeated finals is where it counts...............

I think FC mentioned it a while back. Top bloke.

I'm not sure he will be able to fulfil his coaching - he might be still looking for his cow...

He pops up at the 30 sec mark.

I was at a mates place last night as he has broken both his feet and we were discussing Kymbo when he came up on TV. Uncanny!

It was hard not to send him a text "If you ever want to see your cow again..... ;) "

they might!

West Croydon
Adelaide Lutheran
Trinity
Woodville South
Brahma Lodge

Ingle Farm
Fitzroy
Mawson Lakes
Houghton
Mitchell Park

very hard to do a ladder now without the knowledge of ins and outs..no disrespect intended to any clubs i have put in the bottom 5..div 7 clubs coming up need to prove they can mix it..and div 5 clubs coming down need to show why they were div 5 previously..the rest is pretty much as it was last season with a little drop to fitzroy and a few rungs higher for the lodge..

Way too early to be doing this....Mid Feb when some clearances are in might be a better time....even then...who knows!

Some discussion is better than none, you can bet on the AFL premiership for 2016 already.

Haha...yes, think most people would have a bit more knowledge of the AFL to make informed decisions. Any side in Div 6 would only have to recruit 5 or 6 higher div players into their side to change it dramatically.....don't see those numbers into an AFL team. I see Sportsbet have West Croydon at $1.10 though. I do get sucked into reading the ladder predictions, I must be starved of footy!

That's the human in us, Zartan makes 47 predictions per pre-season so he can go back through them at the end of the season and cover himself in glory.

What a lovely peaceful and country deck you have out there, that's no way to talk about your home. Keep us low key as well, relegation sits well and that's what the scribes are portraying. :D

Div 7 to Div 6 is a fair jump,, Houghton and Mitchell Park would need to improve immensely to have a serious impact this year..

You cant expect people to be backing either in for a high finish at this stage of the year coming up from D7 when there are two strong clubs coming down from D5 and a few strong clubs already in D6 who will be around the mark.

Apart from Smithfield last year, I cant remember the last time a club went from D7 to D5 in consecutive years?

Id say both teams know this already as both have struggled in d6 in the past.

We aint just here to survive div 6 either

Im not convinced that div 6 will be as strong next season as it has been in previous years though, will be a fairly even comp I reckon..

If the reports coming out of Adel Luth, West Croydon and Woody South are accurate, they'll be very hard to beat. Trinity are generally around the mark, Mawson Lakes found some form 2nd half of the season and could be dangerous.

Other sides would be working over time recruiting - Brahma would be one keen to bounce back for sure - I would expect those sides to be improved on last year.

The only club that I think may struggle a bit to improve is Fitzroy, and that's only because they have a young side and have lost their two best players from last season.

Last year the standard was pretty average with the exception of the top 3 sides.

I'm of a different belief, I can't see Lutheran taking being relegated to div 6 all that well, Woody South wouldn't like being this low, you guys are generally around the mark, Ingle Farm and the Lodge seem to have picked up a few names and are looking to be more competitive, add West Croydon into that fray and the comp seems very strong.

It's too early to judge where Houghton and Mitchell Park fit into the picture, the Lakes seem to do enough to survive in div. 6 and Fitzroy cause enough headaches to re-arrange everyone's top 5 prediction order, who knows, they may be able to take that extra step this season, they'd clearly have one of the biggest home ground advantages in the comp.
