yeah that was a good day out. Remember that one quite well. I reckon the supply in with this b grade is better than back then. As you can see rusty has kicked plenty this year. If he fires aswell the other blokes up forward. Fitzroy wont have a chance tomorrow

Portland's A's have won by 7 goals, putting them through to the GF, & more importantly Div 3 next year- well done on that.

Cheers RL, was very impressed with your guys - during and after the game. We do have a good, young side, but we have been very inconsistant all year. We just cant put teams away, and we have only really played 2 or 3 excellent games all year - our best one was probably against you blokes in round 10. Our best footy is as good as anyone in the grade, but when we are off, we are terrible. Hopefully the guys will learn from the last 2 weeks, and they have plenty of footy in front of them - the oldest bloke in our midfield is 21, our ruckman is 17 and the bloke doing our kick-ins on the weekend is still an u16.

In the end, we did our job - feed the A grade, and put pressure on them for spots. Big couple of weeks ahead and D3, here we come !!! :D

All the best against Mitcham, RL. I reckon they are ripe for the picking !!!

Not sure when we are supposed to start posting in the div 3 thread? Anyway great news for the club. Its been 5 years or so since we have had something go our way like going up a grade. Hats off to Andy and his boys for a great win. Got some real momentum now heading into the GF. For the B Grade it was a heart basher to go down by a point for the second week in a row. But as Felch said plenty to build on for next year. Dont think it will be the typical struggle coming from a lower grade. Exciting times again for the club.
