Wow the loyalty you show is disgusting! Jumping ship after two trial games with CU which my sources tell me you didnt exactly star in as well!! Now your all over Greenies like they are your saviour? Talking to a bloke tonight he was laughing at your game today, said with 20 blokes missing today you will struggle to get a B grade gig at G.F.C..

Are you looking at playing "a" grade at Greenacres?

I would love to play 'a' there but realistically that isnt an option this year. Greenacres have a strong criteria for playing a grade, they are a very committed 'a' grade and personally, I dont feel I would have the skill or fitness to play in there A grade... But in saying that, I 'will' strive to get fit and in the unlikely case the a grade call me up I would gladly play but that is very highly unlikely. There are many more players more deserving. So you think Greenacres have more chance than Central United, so you are jumping ship :o At least you have got a chance to play "a" grade if you stay at Central United.

no no no. It is definately not that. I believe CU can play finals this year. I feel they may have more chance of playing finals then Greenacres 'B' grade. They have a good squad(and very young at that) that is more then capable. I personally feel I dont fit into Andys game plan and feel I let the team down. A good friend of mine suggested I may be what they want in his side and asked if I would like to play a trial there. I agreed and there game plan suits how I play. I am comfortable there but still have not made a concrete decision. I have played at many clubs and have had many offers(not for money) from individuals who have played alongside me and know where Im best suited... There are no Ill feelings towards anyone, I respect all decisions made by coaches because that is there job.

Club loyalty is gone today! Must guys go to 1 or 2 clubs in there career, fair enough. Now blokes go to 1 or 2 clubs per season and 10 clubs per career!

I feel loyalty lorals lie with family and junior ties. I didnt know what AFL was till 1998 and have no long term ties to anyone. I have played at alot of clubs yes but I have no ill feelings for doing so. Its what you show when your on the field for your 'team mates' that matters.

Yes, going by today's trial I think Glenunga will go through the season undefeated and we'll struggle to win a game. Doesn't bode well for us considering we had only one person unavailable today.

Wow! Interesting result. Mawson Lakes might not have it their way after all. Have Houghton lost many players from last season??? Tomorrows trial between the saints and West Croydon should be interesting. My top 5 for Div 7 would be Athelstone, Mawson Lakes, Glenunga, Modbury and TTG with flinders battling for a top 5 spot. Should be a great div this year.

What about the friendships you build with the blokes? The good times on and off the field? Moving from club to club surely cant create the same connection, then all of a sudden surely your not playing 100% for your mates around you. The way you wrote that post reads to me like you just go around playing for yourself

I dont play for myself. Regardless of what team I play for, I train and play hard 'for' my team mates. Changing clubs doesnt make anyone less a person or player. If I played for myself Im sure out of all the good caoches Ive had, I would have been found out. I feel I do not have what it takes to calculate in CU game plan and I feel it lets my team mates down. Every player knows where they play there best and worst football regardless of where they are..

When put at a position from a coach I play to my ability in that position. Unfortunately not all positions are suited to all players. At no stage did I not try my hardest where I was put regardless of wether I thought I should have been there or not. Its not a dummy spit at all. I was asked my a very good friend of mine if I would consider coming across to Greenacres, I declined, he then asked me to train one night and play one trial to see if I liked the role they put me in. I played and feel what I have to offer them is much greater then what I have to offer CU. I have no ill feelings towards anyone there and never will.

Define a mate.. You went from Gepps to Kilburn, back to Gepps, back to Kilburn, then to Ingle Farm.... You to would know that mateship is based on who you are and not how many games of football youve played with someone...

Never ever thought i'd actually agree with RTG

Ventured out to Glenunga v Houghton yesterday and must say both Bourke & Roberts from Fitzroy are gonna be very good players at this level...bit sad I wasn't allowed near The Rams huddle though :( :D also heard Raggies star Malcolm Grossmann will be suiting up for Athelstone C grade....makes for some very good talent running round in div 7 this year.

The Lakers had a good hitout today with West Croydon, very competitive game in the wet....looking forward to TTG round 1.

bores the hell out of us.. who are you speaking on behalf of? If its not supposed to be on here im sure a moderator would step in and I would gladly drop the subject. Maybe being a Houghton man, you should concerntrate on being half competitive against a div 7 side then focusing on a forum ametuer :)
