I believe Portland expected to play PAOC but now face Mitcham in the Grand Final.
They wouldn't want to think this will be easier than a clash with PAOC.
You go into it with that frame of mind & you will get an absolute flogging.
I say to all you Portland players respect your opponents.

Think they would have rather played PAOC NM. They have been pathetic the last 6-7 games of the year since their super star full forward broke his arm. Was at the Mitcham PAOC game yesterday and Mitcham looked a lot more dangerous than they did when Portland beat them in the first final. Not sure if it was that they had improved or just a reflection of how piss poor and soft PAOC.
I'm number 1, so why try harder!!

Does anyone know where the match is likely to be played? Or if it will likely be a triple header with Mitchams A's, B's and C's all in GF's and PAOC's B's and C's in aswell?

If anything, i reckon Mitcham winning has actually helped us avoid complacency. PAOC were terrible against us in the 2nd semi - layed down without a fight. One thing we know about Mitcham is that they keep having a crack no matter what the situation.

Grand final at Alberton too, just got confirmation.

Played a game against you guys out there in 99, it p!ssed down all day, it was a pretty fierce game, I got heckled all day by two of your female supporters who kept going up near your goals, I was in the back pocket. I normally blank out spectators but they just wouldn't let up. We won in a tight game and went back into your club afterwards.

You guys put on a few beers for us, I ended up sticking around for a while and missed my own presentations, made peace with the hecklers and basically had left the place with a lot of respect for your club, first impressions last.

I must say, I played about 18 games there over a two year period, about 11 a's and 7 b's and never played in a losing side and got a div. 4 premiership to with, I can't complain.

Your fault for taking your stash in there, what are glove compartments for. Not friggin gloves, that's for sure.

What years were you talking about with Scotch and Lockleys ?

Red hair and russian ? Geez, now you are testing me. My first year there was 91, U17's.

Mark Kreminski maybe, but he didn't have red hair. Blonde.
