Some clubs spread the love and so they should if they have a long term person who eventually gives it all back in one way or another. Love the banter but.

The two biggest spenders of 2011 played off in a GF this year.

Word around the Para Districts Cricket Comp is that Central United Cricket Club is not letting any of the footballers who play cricket attend pre season training this year and that they need to focus fully on Cricket. Is this true? Since when did playing in a social comp become so serious? Would be a big disruption for the footy club surely.

Wouldn't think PDCA Grade 1 is a social comp

I would think individuals choice as the footy and cricket operate as one club

they are 2 seperate clubs and it is the individauls choice.. thats why the footy is training on differant night ,,so that the footballers can train for cricket and so on...
plus its only our exfull forward that needs more running.

Apart from Central United, Mawsons and Ingle Farm recruiting well, any other clubs had much turn over in players. Or is everyone else just happy to keep things close to their chest this time of year, like us? Which teams are still yet to kick off preseason? We are starting on Jan 10.

Tosser, most clubs keep things close to their chests this time of year, especially those who reckon they are OK. When the battle begins, then you know what you REALLY have. Good luck in 2012.

I've heard Woodville South have got Stubberfield back from West Croydon & Rayner from Eagles, 2 massive Ins if true and would make then odds on favourites even more!

As for Central United well not sure who Carey's trying to fool. He's trying to divert some attention obviously cos he's picked up some beauties which should make them the big challenger to Woody Sth.

Rayner will be the best player in Division 6 by a long way if this is true.

This is true. Rayner will dominate division 6. He was sick of not getting chances at the eagles and is pretty keen to turn around woody souths fortunes in 2012

Here's hoping Woody South come up trumps. Good club and the best side I have played against as a 17 y.o 10 years ago. No matter the standard in div 5 being relegated hits a nerve, but also brings hope and enthusiasm.
Centrals have always been competative, I have played against and on Dutchy and he's a true leader and top player. My 2 tips with out a ball bounced. Yep so the rest of you should just pack up and prepare for 2013 Haha. Best of luck all.
