Duggan's a great player and I'd probably have him in the Div 5 Team of the Year, but Hope Valley are far from a one-man show.

Not that I know what I'm talking about, I'm just a player. Anyone else got other nods for Div 5 Team of the Year players?

HV- duggan, gibbs, j.hann
wos- ohara, malcolm
pulteney- perrie, barrie
plympton- smith
bos- parish, rugari
eliz- king
rosewater- uerding, birch, anderson
smithfield- taylor, bond, their ruckman (james?)
kenilworth- cooper
if- hawksworth

There is some names that stand out for me, sure there are plenty of others that could fill some spots tho[/quote]

As much as it pains me to say this, you could almost stick Frangers in there for us as well.

dont be so precious..i am sure you have players from blacks you have marked that you will have to contain..lets go further then whilst we are having fun..keep duggan to under 10 possesions and blacks win..you like that? :)

How come you dont name any BLacks players too watch or contain?

parish,milikan,rugari,brincat..hows that for starters?..do you really think i have exposed your best players and that the blacks boys have no idea who your best are? i give them a little bit more credit than that..doesnt take a lot of research to work out a teams major movers

zedman shouldnt have to name our players considering you guys sent some1 down to watch our game.

I reckon you guys cheat in the way you name your teams, you can't just name all the best forwards and say that would work for a team, so I'll start with a forward line and leave some holes...

FF line:
I'd have Lachie Jones (Pulteney) as the lead up FF, with Malcolm (Westminster) as the tall deep FP option, need a quality small FP option for the other pocket.

HF line:
Perrie (Pulteney) obviously as the CHF, with Smith (Plympton) as a mobile tall flanker, need a second flanker here that is dangerous, but can possibly change on the ball for flexibility.

Id have warburton filling the other forward pocket, with duggan on either the other half forward flank or midfield.

For midfield id have ohara as 1st ruck and james as 2nd ruck, with gibbs, barrie and taylor on ball. Gower from hv and king from eliz as the wingmen

Frangas is quite possibly the biggest drama exponent since Lley Ley and Bec !!!
Love the lad though and plays with plenty of passion. Wish he was back with us !! ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

why even discuss the game then if its a "waste of time"..LOL

and it takes me about 3-4 minutes to write a post so "depreciation of your keyboard" must be some sort of lame attempt at humour.."ha ha" :(

If I had to nominate 5 from WOS they would be. Malcolm as a forward, Ohara in Ruck, Harders in the backline, Harris on ball and Hooper at CHB has missed a few games but rarely gets beaten.

 well at the end of the day they are just names that stood out to me. If there was a team of the year, there would be inputs from members of every club.....in which this case birch probably wouldnt make it!
