So you're saying that Wonderboy has had an average year??

Even when he played his half a game against us (straight from the plane - and looking marvellously tanned 8) ) he still carved us up.

And how can a well credentialed Ingle Farm player schedule his wedding during Footy season. Shows no respect to the Coach and his team. Where are you MBF?

i can tell you the wedding was scheduled well before the footy season, also was arranged by the wife to be and i dont think when it was organised that he would be so sorely missed. Its no disrespect to the coach or team at all, and he will be back firing this weekend..

For the record wasnt a bad wedding, MBF figured quite prominantly on the dance floor with plenty of touches and wore the wife like a glove, expert taggin job :P

At the start of the year Matty wouldn't have been too worried about missing a B or C grade game, then everything everything fell his way and he is one of the best players at the club, he wasn't to know. You still didn't miss much Matty, would have been much more fun at your wedding

Duggan's a great player and I'd probably have him in the Div 5 Team of the Year, but Hope Valley are far from a one-man show.

Not that I know what I'm talking about, I'm just a player. Anyone else got other nods for Div 5 Team of the Year players?

HV- duggan, gibbs, j.hann
wos- ohara, malcolm
pulteney- perrie, barrie
plympton- smith
bos- parish, rugari
eliz- king
rosewater- uerding, birch, anderson
smithfield- taylor, bond, their ruckman (james?)
kenilworth- cooper
if- hawksworth

There is some names that stand out for me, sure there are plenty of others that could fill some spots tho

As much as it pains me to say this, you could almost stick Frangers in there for us as well.[/quote]

Franers has had a great year. I also think Luke Anderson has had a ripper year. Could be right up there come B&F night!

agree with james from smithfield, smart player.

we'll get the plympton guys to keep time during the game

yeah thats gino, gutsy player....
I was waiting for some one to say some thing bout that..... i was waiting for a plympton person to bring it up. i certainly didn't think a BOS person would bring it up...
maybe we should do it, we'll actually use a stop watch not a sundial...

no problem bringing it up from our perspective. two stop watches, one at the table one with the team manager at the bench, within 18 seconds of each other. pretty simple, have a timekeeper sit with the home club, but of course the concern only arose when we drew even with 3 minutes 45 remaining.
its all history but i thought i'd throw it out there. never seen so many people carry on after they have won.

carry on was a bit silly, i did tell the guys not to worry bout it as we have won..... Very rarely a visiting timekeeper will sit with the home timekeeper, the only bloke from memory who does that is the old guy from greenacres. It's something we'll have to address in the future.. Are concern was how does a quarter go 34:50 with not that many stopagges??? you'll probably say there was 9 goals kicked, but the ball did come back to the umpire very quickly (i did see your goal umpire run like the flash to get the ball, very funny cause i would have done the same)..just that quarter seemed to be alot longer then the other quarters.... I wasn't mad about it, i was just curious... I was more concerned the pies and pasty's were gone by the time i got out from having a shower after the B grade...

He was also very good against us, but birch stood out more. Like the rosies boys said, must have liked playing against us!

I was wondering why it took so long to get the phone call we were waiting for. I was nearly home after the A grade game before ther phone rang. I reckon it was about 4:50pm which is a bit later than normal...
