and i thought it was 6 or 7 players thats 2?

here they are
danny walton, michael hayes, nathaniel solly, nathan scott, anthony bourke plus i here there
could be some more stay tuned.

Would young Hayes really play div 7? Played out at Centrals with him.... had some talent
He played Bs most of last year mate, will get a lot of the footy at the Lodge though.

Nathan Scott was co-captain at EP I think. Nathan Solly was their A Grade ruckman, is a good bloke and will be a dominant ruckman in Div 6/7. Bourkey is a pretty hard defender, and Walton is getting on but will still be decent value up forward.

Good get by the Lodge...

No I don't think so, that sounds like BH talking a bit of BS to keep the recruiters off his tail.
Now that is just plain dumb, don't you think?

Not too sure you're going to get much quality in the ranks of coaching leftovers at this stage, you'd want to hope someone forgot to apply for other jobs elsewhere.

Must have been a cheap shot, not as if you would've had your head over the footy to get one!

Coming from you thats a bit rough. You don't even get touched and you fall to the ground like you've been shot.

That probably says more about them and why the club is where it is and will stay unless they realise times and footy has changed.Strange that they still have asked for an application letter tho,if who i think they might give the job to gets it be tough times ahead but good luck to him and the club.

Im pretty sure you will find that someone that coached last year has some commitee members on side.Great bloke but short on coaching experience especially for a club rebuilding,i may be wrong but will all know soon enough.

Just heard last years b grade coach been told he wont be coaching not face of club they want.Evidently couple of commitee members think that young lads dont need to be taught game tactics at training and have strategy for games just get fitter and tougher like old ingle farm,so unfortunately for dash hes not the man they want.Well good luck convincing players thats the way to go after all the success theyve had? must be pretty football wise people running that place with a vision to reach the lofty heights of div 5&6...

Ok firstly, I have only met with one club, that's the honest truth. Didn't sign there on the night but still considering it. Not after being "recruited" by anyone, just want to keep developing the coaching side of things while still playing. Wherever i play it will be much more about opportunity to continue learning than it will be about money.

With BL picking up some good quality blokes from EP, will this be enough to cover the losses that Millar will take? Heard the B&F winner and r/u are both going....how do they compare the boys coming in from EP?

Payney I am sure will do well there as will they guys he has taken, IMO Watlton could still kick 60-80 in that comp... Payney's not the type of bloke to pack up and leave after a year either so could be promising times for BL...
