the sporting club didnt decide the coach. a group of people unrelated to the sporting club interviewed the applicants and then it was recommended to the football commitee ho they thought was the best fit for the job. it was then up to the footy club to appoint the person for the job. i think you will find the previous coach applied for the job.

You seem to contradict yourself.your telling me he did apply then your saying if he wanted job he should have applied. So did he or didnt he??to clear up the confusion he has told me himself he didnt apply,ask club if you like they also know why.
