I know the lads were a bit disappointed after the game, good contest all day and a 44 goal turn around from the last time they met, it hurts loosing after the siren.
The boys are looking forward to the next couple of weeks and maybe sneak in a win or two :D

Wheels fallen off at Mitchell Park? Do they have a heap out or something? Down by 100+ to Lockleys

Trinity home by 1 point against Pulteney. Gets them 2nd I think

Good to see that Flinders Uni got the win away today. Interested to know how many B graders they had with them having the bye ;)

Para Hills football club should be very proud of the way their C grade have conducted themselves this season, today was a tough day for them playing short against one of the strongest lineups we have fielded but they worked hard all day, played the game in the right spirit and remained as competitive as they could until the end.

It was unfortunate the side you had to play against today that we fielded, it wasn't our intention to have a side like that at all unfortunately with the Smithfield debacle we had a large number of players who were returning from injury who would've played B grade that needed to get some sort of game time under their belts before finals. I did try to keep their time to a minimum if I could help it.

Para Hills definitely have my respect, up against it all year and it cant be easy at this stage of the year with barely a full side to keep turning up just to be on the wrong end of some big scores, but the wheels haven't fallen off and they just keep presenting.

Yes we did have a few back but only 1 guy who hadn't played C's during the year, and he played barely a qtr.

Went to the Den yesterday and watched all 3 games. "wheels fallen off" no, you guys have been around C grade, the A's take precedent cos they are making sure they are in Div 6 next year, the ressies are 3rd and a real chance, so player management comes in to it. What I saw in the C's was a bunch of old farts who bleed for the club, but in 2 weeks time, that will change. Seriously the fact MP can actually field a 3rds ever lone put one in to finals is a massive massive step forward for the club. Win lose or draw. :)

the future looks bright for Para Hills if the 16 year olds that played on Saturday is any indication..one thing that stood out for me was i think No 4? was wearing long sleeves who is only 16,there was a 50/50 ball on the half forward flank in which he attacked it 100%..he came off second best and was down for a while and a bit dazed from the contest but to his credit he got back up and continued to play the rest of the game! i thought he showed a lot of courage =D> =D>

Thanks to GFC for a great day and for putting on food for our boys. Much appreciated and big respect to your club. A couple of boys with Glenunga links walked away with their heads held high.

Once a good club always a good club.

My mentor Norm Murphy was a Glenunga life member and he would be proud of the way your club operates. Respect to the Rams.

Football is a funny game.. the situation is as follows:

IF (and that is IF) Ingle Farm can defeat Glenunga by a margin of 66pts plus tomorrow at Rowe Park, they well leap frog Mitchell Park on % and could effectively elminate them from the finals race if Pulteney defeat Flinders Uni.

Given our Rd 1 debacle with Mitchell Park and then the return game and obviously their club's continual animosity and malevolence towards Ingle Farm over a bitter rivally from 10yrs ago, i have been craving an opportunity to exact some revenge and justice and those loses have sat in the pits of our teams stomachs over the course of the season, driving us as a team and a club to continue to be better, and to think OUR fate is in OUR hands and WE could have the final say is fitting..

All that said and done, MASSIVE battle for my side tomorrow to lift for the massive occasion over a much improved Glenunga who beat us earlier in the year, but what more motivation do you need..

IF IT IS TO BE, ITS UP TO US!

Massive day for PNU. If we win we complete a flawless minor round. Not bad for a team who won only one game two years ago
