Dunno mate, but if he gets games for that the SAAFL is an absolute joke. There is no way he should have been red carded, let alone reported for that. All it warranted was a free kick- was just a misfortunate late high tackle.

Late high tackle says it all
I probably agree with you though.
Im still amazed that a guy can be red carded, a free kick awarded but no 25m penalty?

Yeah, well my understanding is that if a report is made the opposing side gets a free kick and a 25m penalty, but hey it is DIV6R we are talking about here. We can't expect good umpires.

Just don't like players of his ilk (guys who like to give a cheap shot). He's not a bad player, but don't think he's in the best 21 from DIV6.

Yeah he'll be coaching again next year. Probably one of the hardest working coaches going round in the lower divisions. Does a lot of prep work, leaves no stone unturned. Unfortunately things didn't go his way this yr. He is not the reason Heccies are still lingering in DIV6. It's hard work trying to change the culture of a footy club, but I think he is well on the way to doing that and success is not far away...

Not a bad team me thinks. Wouldnt envy the person who had to pick it, tough job.

Thats the thing, I would have no idea and dont pretend to.

Tired Tiger does have a point in saying who ever picks it is in a hiding to nothing, its not like they can go and review the tapes after each round!!

I just dont see the point in picking teams of the year for anything below Div 1... I guess its a bit of fun more than anything?
