I wouldn't have a clue how much was offered to Baker. That's because Kilburn is a little better at keeping this information to the people who need to know than Greenacres are.

Being one of Justin McPherson's best mates, I know what he got offered, and I can tell you all, he knocked it back and is staying at Salisbury and not heading to Greenacres. All of his best mates are at the club, as he hasn't played anywhere else (except school footy at Trinity), and he decided he wanted to keep playing footy with the guys he drinks with every Saturday night. I also know who else Greenacres have talked to, but I'm not sure what he is doing as of yet.

Chief, I'd love to know where you got your 'information' from. I'm guessing I know who you're talking about, and to the best of my knowledge, the club is still not going to be paying players on a per game basis. We are doing things to make the club look like a more attractive place to play footy, and have had some interviews this week, but I can tell you there were numerous names on the list of possibilities of guys to talk to that we had to cross off as the asking price was too high, and it wasn't even that much coin.

I'm sure people will not believe what I've just written, but I'll put it out there anyway and see what I get back. I'm sure cheif's response will be full of proof backing up his original statement.

In my experience it's not the club that puts the figure out in the public forum, it's normally the player. Many have over inflated values on themselves and to get an ego trip whenever $$$$$ are mentioned so the figure does get inflated by the time it does the rounds. Have heard some goodies in my time! :(

Agrees with aceman. The amount will start at $100 by the time it has done its rounds its up $600

It seems that kilburn get hammered all the time on the amount they may or may not pay there players, and salisbury get bagged for alleging they don't pay players. At the end off the day whose business is it anyway, as long as the player is performing on the field, and the club is moving forward

In saying all that TBS you get very defensive when someone is having a go at what kilburn are paying out, but don't seem to mind having a go at others. So can one assume then whats good for the goose is good for the gander :?

I haven't been defensive at all about what Kilburn are paying out. I've encouraged people to make up ridiculous amounts because you can't stop a good dose of Kilburn bashing on here. Happens every summer.

TBS..nice to hear that as a club now we cant keep our mouths shut when it comes to confidential information about players!!..just as a point of interest do you have the green balls to state where you got your "amount" from or are you going to hide behind your part time degree and continue to use inuendo as a method to throw s#@t at other clubs and what you perceive as thier weaknesses 8)

I agree with aceman and Trueblue the 'info' generally comes from the player concerned and they use it for their ego's

You are starting to act like a nong Turk!

What am I hiding behind? Most people on here know who I am(unlike you) so I fail to see how I am hiding behind anything. God knows what a degree has to do with anything.

The comment which started your episode of PMS was that it was logical for Salisbury to start offering players some money because one player had signed with GX and McPherson had been offered $200 by Greenacres. I never said there was anything wrong or excessive with what Greenacres had done.

The comment about keeping info in house was in response to a Greenacres poster saying that we were "throwing $600" at a player and that we were denying it.

It seems to me that you find either saying that you offered a player $200 offensive, that you don't keep such info 'in-house' offensive, or both. If this is the case why don't you take up your argument with test who has said we are paying triple that amount and inferred that the offer was common knowledge. Keep you own house in order before you start attacking others and you may have more credibility.

I'm not going to say who told me the amount. No-one on here ever does for obvious reasons. Looks like I hit a nerve with the amount though which confirms to me that the figure I was told was true.

Sorry Shrek I must have missed the question on the safooty application that required me to disclose my identity..but you believe you know who I am so I guess that makes us even 8)

The only recent post that mentioned Kiburn and $'s came from test and I dont see greenacres as his club near his avitar so why are you targeting greenies as having a go at your club...unless of course you know something I dont??..which you probably think you do

P(M)S ..if credibility was an issue TBS you would never post again

If you read Test's posts you will find he is from Greenacres.

I never said you should disclose your identity. You, however, said I was hiding behind something and I pointed out I wasn't. What was I hiding behind? You still haven't told me.

Sorry TBS re test...he seems to post over various forums and I have noted no allegance..but if you say so.....

Hiding behind something..you... never..ok my thoughts on this...you mention uni in a lot of threads and using their facilites..I'm then led to believe from your age (which you posted recently) that you may in fact be a student and studying at said uni.... your use of the language and some of your posts leads me to believe you may be studying communication or perhaps law..the way you infer a lot of information without saying anything that is a blatant lie tends to make me think its law...

So I think you use your knowledge (hide behind) to hint and infer at things without actually saying anything wrong (most of the time) 8)

If only you could you could use your power for good instead of evil

Ha ha ha. Here's what I think Turk; you know who I am and that I study law and you've just come up with the above post to make it look like you are smart and figured it out yourself.

I may be wrong but I thought the only time I infered anything without blatantly stating it was when I would get banned if I did say it.
