The only Time North Haven can play, hope they don't schedule the grand final for 12.15.

Is it? I was wondering why and have no idea they're playing on a Sunday. The only thing I can think of is that it would clash with our A grade?

you'll find that C divisions finals have been played on Sundays for the past 3 or maybe more seasons, unless agreed by participating clubs to bring it forward to coincide with a relating higher grade.

You could have played it at 10.15am at West Croydon, if you'e playing home on a sunday then you have purchased the final.
The first 2 weeks are on Sunday's because of lack of umpire's.

Spot on DJ, the C Grade raised the money to pay for the home final so weren't willing to play on a nuetral ground on the Saturday.

Sunday isn't far from ideal but they wanted to play at home which is their perogative.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Why in the hell would you give up an opportunity to have the home final, especially a final that advances one to the GF

This is just an observation, and by no means is it a criticism, because at the end of the day its 'each to their own', so to speak, but it seems that while most Clubs that have C Grade teams in this division (unaware what goes on in others) are trying to win but still focussing on making sure that they can support the rest of the Club's teams eg having triple headers so the C Graders can support the A Grade, North Haven are basically running thier own race when it comes to thier apparent quest to win the C5 flag.

I mean from my perspective winning C5 games is a great personal goal, but more importantly it has been about making sure that I can support the A Grade each (well, most...) weeks. And if i wasn't able to do that i'd have to seriously consider which of the two options appeals to me more.

North Haven (and this isn't a criticism just an observation) are percieved to have thumbed their noses at the rest of the Club and said bugger you blokes, we want the flag and we'll do whatever we have to in order to win it, and if that means there willbe 25+ less supporters at the A Grade each week then so be it.

I guess if thats your goal and the Club is happy with that then good on them, but I'd be dissapointed if PFC decided to run their race that way.
