Heard this too but it was bar talk I reckon...Central United I would predict still look the goods for season 2012. Also, Is Liam Davis from Houghton playing at the Redlegs this year? Heard there was a whisper he might be training with them throughout 2012?

I would love to see that for 2 reasons. Firstly, the lad can play - the best contested mark I have seen for some time and it would be good to see if he can go on to play at a higher level. Secondly, would make play Houghton a little easier (no disrespect intended Q)

your 2-3 seasons late with that rumour. 5 or 6 from united went there 2008, 3-4 came back 2 seasons ago.. we actually got a couple extras with them.. dont think any have gone there this year... but if they do... ADIOS !! no biggy... they will be back...

Clegg to Gumeracha for $100 a game.

Hasn't Abdulla signed with 3 different clubs over summer already?
Gums are chasing everyone, they have offered big dollars to a B Grade ruckman at Mawson Lakes also.

So the rumors about Geoff Riddle being replaced were not true then I guess.

Yes not true. His dance and singing career didn't take off as well as he liked, so after the MLFC signed him up straight after the GF loss (with the contract stating if his entertainment career didn't take off, he would be coach), so looks like now he'll have to settle just being just a Footy Coach.

Where's he playing next year dirty dog? I've heard Gumeracha, Brahma & Central United?

Is Hall staying? Woodward also not available until round 6....Normally I'd say these are big losses but with the way Carey has been recruiting I wouldn't worry. Ian Bellman signed, sealed & delivered! ;)

i think someone said virginia or two wells or some team in the AP league at one stage as well.

Bellman big in, not the most mobile big man but hes just that BIG! will be hard to stop if he plays kick behind the play as he did when he was with brahma in 09.

He was only going to be replaced as Geoff has the ability to recruit in huge numbers as we are seeing again this year so 'Uncle Sam' was looking at him to be his number 1 recruitment officer and get all these kids on the front line......

But much to the SAAFL and the population of Mawson Lakes delight he declined Geoff you truly are the peoples person and life coach.
