thejuddernaught wrote:If that's the case then fair enough. That's understandable. But generally by half way through the last quarter you can tell who your best 6 are which should leave ample time to submit the actual best players. I Guess each coach has their different methods to everything. Maybe I'll just have to go directly to the source to find out the best players this week. Best of luck dogs.

Are you going to ask Shaun or Scott "the sauce" Jacobsen?

I'll be asking Arron Hure I reckon.
Better not stiff me and give me false information.

Won't get any sense out of him after 5.00pm

Before anyone gets too excited about backfriars win today, CLG were missing close to half there side and with the weather it stopped CLG's running style of footy. Probably their worst performance in 4 years. Are still the team to beat. Good to get a bad one out of the way.

Only as good as the side you have available jaykay. Blackfriars out played us today. Worked harder and we're desperate all day. Well done to Alex and the team, Imo the team to beat at the early stage

What do we make of round 2 results? Did the weather have an impact on any of the results?

He reckons he got a knee to the head, nothing untoward. Has an op to insert plates on Thursday....his birthday.

As everyone has (me included) bagged umpires on here from time to time, i would just like to say that the CBC B grade umpire on saturday would have to be one of the best umpires i have been involved with, if only all club umpires would umpire as they see it, credit to him and CBC. =D>
On another note Elizabeths depth will be tested with several injuries saturday to key players, played the last quarter with 17 fit guys. Big game at Greenies this week.

Match of the round at Edward Smith Reserve should be a good test to where clubs are at.

Did Elizabeth just struggle to adapt to footy in the parklands or are Greenies and Pulteney serious contenders?

At a glance I'd say that away wins are pretty much worth 4 points in this pretty even division, more so with the top 7 ranked sides.

I heard that Pulteney were the better team last week against greenacres they had plenty of chances to win the game with 25 scoring shots they just missed some simple shots in difficult conditions and credit to greenacres they made the most of there chances. I would think both are contenders this year as are clg, rosies, blacks, elizabeth.

I think what we have learnt in the first 2 rounds is anyone can beat anyone this year which is great for the competition.

What will the top 5 be at the end of the minor round?

Rosewater
CLG
Elizabeth
Blackfriars
Pulteney
