Im hearing that, never enjoyed the trip to glandore ;)

lol @scout..he would be in his element right now!

i told anyone who wanted to listen after we played wos in rd 4 that they were the real deal..and could go all the way..it wasnt just the A grade that impressed me but also the depth and strength and size of the B grade which compliments the A grade of course..only 2 teams that thoroughly smashed us from start to finish in both games this year were wos and pulteney..and before duncs jumps up..yes elizabeth made a mess of us as well both times but the wos and pulteney games were better spankings

how many times can you go to the water hole before it gets to much jabber..this loss may have long implications in the brains of the players..saying that..plympton would again be up there for 2010 along with blacks, rosies and i expect alfc to go alright as well..heccies and BL wont be pushovers either but someone has to come 9th and 10th and there is no central united, ingle farm, glenunga or kenilworth to take the suckers punch..div 5 will be a hot one next year

The club deserves all the raspberries it gets until it wins one...

And i don't know how the players will react, as i said earlier today i think there were a small contingent of players who this may not have hurt nearly enough.

I feel for the James & Linc Rogers (not brothers) Gino Pegoraro (although injured this week), a good 750 games between them and probably their last year at A Grade level. They are true Plympton people and will be cut.

Plympton = the St Kilda of the past, letting everyone down come finals time.

yeah rogers lads are good players..didnt know gino missed out..but my comments before the first final you played were that if smith was held you may struggle to kick enough goals with no shep, gino or lange..and i guess it panned out like that on saturday..gino would also have given you some muscle around the forward lines..life goes on..

my bad..your right!..it was only 5 goals..we must have been better then i thought :)

makes my original comment even more pertinent then..the ONLY teams to smash us twice were wos and pulteney :)

your correct custardarm..we have had a great rivalry with you guys for 5 years now..one day before i die we will beat you again..good luck next year mate :)

I dont get out to have much of a look at the juniors, should but im pretty lazy on a sunday!

We're in pretty safe hands if we get to keep the majority of those U18s in the future.
well 2009 is over for hope valley A gde. we were beaten by a better side on the day. two things hurt us 9-23 aint gonna win many games against quality opposition. the second and i am not an umpire basher but give me div 5 umpires anyday, because we are used to them. we had 2 umps from div 2 and they were very technical for both sides but certainlly rattled our guys. good luck to the remaining 5 sides, it will be a fantastic final series. fwiw i think pulteney and westminster will play off with westminster winning back to back flags.
All good brother, care factor about my Eagles this year is pretty minimal.
Im surprised about WOS comin form middle of the pack to get promoted, good on em, they obviously worked really hard in a good league. All credit too them.

Id like to call the press conference to announce iv retired from Football effective immediatly. Look out for me in the AFL Grand Final Motorcade :p
