Cmon TT thats something Jars would do

surely not. and leave a lad out who has probably been playing all year. that would be cruel.

Yeah a bit cruel if thats the case but at the end of the day you play your best available side.

Was always going to be the case and was stated early that he was only ever going to play 4 games to qualify and then be available for finals and agree very hard for poor bloke playing the majority to be left out but have to put best side on the park in finals and GF.

I was under the impression He was to play all finals but obviously made himself unavailable for the 2nd semi. Was spotted at the Parade on Saturday possibly with a notebook in hand ;)

Now if he was to come in to the side for the GF I know who I would be the one to miss out IMHO but I'm not revealing that here plus I am not on the coaching staff either.

Who are people tipping for the weekend?

I'd have WOS in the B's and Pultney in the A's as favourites.

Pultney would be shattered if they lost though. You'd expect a Premiership after recruiting two ex-AFL players. Wonder if the lack of football in the last month will work for or against them.

WOS by 26 pts on their new home ground. i thought pulteney yesterday but now we know the venue. they've won and lost their recently so will have good info on what works and what doesn't.

Agreed. If he made himself available for the whole finals series then maybe but just the GF I dont believe is the right thing to do.

I was surprised it appeared to be next to none Pultney heirachy at the game Saturday. Gives the impression they don't give a rats who they play. Imo they are better than GG and Greenies and the standard of this years comp is better aswell.

i saw bassett playing for imbros soccer club C grade on sunday with his brother. i think he enjoyed stealing a goal of his goal hungry brother better than a finals win

It probably does to some people to gauge whether the competition is getting stronger or deteriorating. Good Luck this week mate, I wont put the kiss of death on you guys so I'll leave it at that.

i agree LM. i think Pulteney and WOS on their day would account for GG/Greenies more often than not. possibly GG with that big bloke up forward from 2008 (can't recall his name) would have caused them both some grief though.

no it doesn't really matter that much one eyed, it's was just a question out of interest since i had nothing else to contemplate at the time. what it does indicate though is maybe div 4 will be more even next year than div 5 over the last two years. i think div 5 went up another step this year.
