Funny how I posted about the pissing incident on another thread at 7.28

Re: Are College Teams Soft?
Not Rivvies or Portland Iron Fist - I played against Rivvies in the 80's when we were in A1 - good hard games. Portland were similar this year.

Should stop pissing on our trees though..................LOL

Gotta say.......I should have got 2 games when I heard about it

As for the distance from our changerooms to the oval!!! Where the @#$% were you? Across the road at Teachers College oval?

Then again, our changerooms are appalling - same problem as Victoria Park racecourse. Too bad Kevin Foley doesn't give our changeroom plans Major Development" status - see - we dont always get our way

Also - know why we played both finals at The Barton? Wouldn't give into Tynte Street by selling Japanese/Kiwi beer. As you guys know, we only sell Coopers because its South Australian. We are very parochial about SA. Same with the steaks - all T&R Pastoral from SA

And cause the school owns shares in Coopers/gets given more money by them than finals revenue would make.

My mate just asked me to post the question if anybody knew what was going on with an appeal that he heard had been lodged. I did not want this to get into a banter about what people done to get there 12 match bans. He has taken it on the chin and now will be helping out at Nth Pines this season. But geez if there was a way to get him back out on the ground we would love to have him playing in the Nth Pines colours once again.

Bigshow82, just wondering if you know anything about the following:

I have heard nothing as yet. I will speak to a couple of my mates who still play out there and see what they know.

I think you might find a couple of them were already playing country footy, same direction but closer to the metro area, ex Salisbury West boys though.
