Did it last year (again) went to Flemington for the Turnbull Stakes, 3 group 1 races that day, great day had our own marquee in a cordoned off area at the end of the straight, own bar, bookies and TAB. To top things off we had a girls hens day in the marquee next to us. The rest is as we say, what happens on the trip, stays on the trip. Cost about $80.00 a head including entry and a bloody good lunch, well worth it.

We're heading up during the finals cos we've got nothing else to do this year, can't remember where we're staying though.

What sort of ideas and themes do clubs have for their trips? I know this year we're doing the SFC Porn Star Tour 09, with all the boys' porn star names on the back of the shirt. Everyone must be referred to by their porn star name for the weekend, and if a real name is spoken, the offender is to skull.

Anyone else do different things like this each year?

We had pub golf last year
was a pint at each pub, how ever many drinks it took was the score for that hole. There was no swearing alloed if ya got caught 3 times, you had to put with this plastic putter, if ya missed, shull another pint.
There was a quiet sign, last person quiet had to skull.
par 5 was a pint and a shot
probs is, if there lots like we had last year and all parro, after 5 or 6 pubs they catch on and wont let u in!
we had about 4 blokes do hole in ones all nine holes, was an absolute laugh to do!
get on board the thunder train!!!

Lots of fun BH, I was lucky enough to go last year.

You will really appreciate where Dusty is taking you guys... catching barra in the creek off the beach is awesome fun!
