Gogoll a good lad and decent player but doubt he would leave Nuriootpa

Plays cricket with some very good mates of mine whom play footy at SNFC, so it's coming from a very good source.

There are two brothers and I think Tim is the one that only played reserves at Nuriootpa and his brother is the better player. Not sure on his Christian name but Tim just a player.

nah haven't signed brunoli. the look alike is benbow. bloody hell the bloke is massive.
work at the ground is part of a massive redevelopement. building a new community centre next to the club, changing the direction of the oval slightly, making it about 15-20m longer, erecting light towers for night footy, planting more trees, building a new playground, etc...

Shifting the goalposts, eh? ;)

I'll put my pineapple on Gaza now to kick the most points next season

if you saw some of the inaccurate scores we kicked last year, that's the reason we at gaza are all in favour of moving the goals

Then recruiting Benbow wont help, i rate him but the guy just needs to relax in front of goals, sprays far too many.

SHOC after two runners up, are signing them up. Apparently a few ex Crows/Glenelg/Norwood players. Slowly slipping under the radar, but will be there when the whips are cracking along with Gaza and Henley. Those 3 should round out the double chances and a number of clubs to fill in the Elimination final berth. Only January, but looking likely that the big guns from last year will be around the mark again. Gepps X, Broadies and Goodwood are looking around the mark as well, but maybe a bit behind the big three.

From the SANFL board they have 2 training at South I think they had one at West as well

Mitch Bosley (SHOC / Glenelg), Cam De Visser (SHOC / Glenelg),

Doesn't mean they are gone but they are quality and would have a fair chance of getting a crack.

SHOC's biggest thing is losing players travelling but they all find their way back eventually.

Yep lost 3 to league clubs I hear, maybe a few to country. Do have depth with smalls but will struggle to cover the 3 that have gone to League clubs.
Havent heard of anyone new to the club as yet.

Good to see 4 or 5 pieces of machinery/equipment in operation prior to 8am this morning at GAZA :ymapplause: . It still doesnt look like the renovations have come far but they must be doing something. Perhaps my earlier predictions of zero chance of being ready for the April 14th start date where a little premature. Countdown to the season 3 months and 1 day :D

I still give it almost zero chance - obviously theyre laying turf down instead of sowing from scratch like I think they have with GG's new oval.

Looked like Geppys had pretty good numbers last night on the track. Looked to me like Coach Ando and his assistants are putting a bit of time into increasing the aerobic capacities of the boys with a fair bit of running and some very similar running excersises/sprint work to that which i saw at Gaza last pre-season. Id expect to see a fitter Gepps Cross this year as they look to build on their 5th place finish last year.

There is nothing sillier than someone giving you a certainty for the season in January as i have been reading on the Div 2 thread but i also spoke to a SHOC player last night who is extremely confident that this years GF will see the same 2 participants as the 2011 decider. I have no doubt there would be a few teams looking to prove that prediction wrong and quietly confident of what their clubs may be able to achieve this year.
