NM you are WRONG!

Toby is still playing for walkerville this yr, he missed last week for personal reasons. Toby is a great bloke and is a required player at the cattery for the rest of the yr and with any luck many years to come.

I never said he aint a good bloke, he might be a required player but i doubt you'll get him back playing, actually i hear theirs another Div 2 club after his services.[/quote]

Has this other Div 2 club got a player on the short term injury list or something??   No doubt he will change clubs, the entire game plan will not based around Toby and he will clear out again, same old story, year in year out. With the amount of second hand, only worn once or twice pairs of shorts and socks this oxygen thief has he could start his own footy store.. Beware JS Sports we may soon see "TB's second hand footy gear" opening and sponsoring this website!! Good luck to any club who picks up this melanoma!!!

Stickers, my heart goes out to you. Toby has clearly hurt you, I can see your pain, I can sense the torture your broken heart is going through, you seem like a man who has been hurt so much you’ve lost all sense of dignity. A tortured soul. A broken man. I hope that one day, one day soon, you will be lucky enough to find the right man who won’t let you down. A man you can rely on. A man who fulfils your every wish. Until then Stickers, battle on.

From what I have been told by a sauce close to the club, Toby is happy and a required player at walkerville, Sounds to me like others are trying to get back at someone after a bad friendship break up.... Dam whiteants........

Good game of footy out at Flinders Park!

For many of the Modbury players it was the first time they had played Flinders Park and were very pleased with the oval size and its in great condition. Very nice set up they have down there.

The first quarter was an arm wrestle, both teams going inside 50 without scoring and flinders being up by a few goals at 1/4 time. They kicked to a 4 goal lead early in the 2nd and but the hawks pegged it back to lead by 3 goals at 1/2 time. Mobdury kicked the 1st goal of the 3rd but from then Flinders midfield got on top and kicked 5 goals to 0 and lead by a goal at 3qtr time. The last quarter was a good entertaining battle both teams having a fair dinkum crack. Modbury was a bit cleaner under pressure and ran it out of defence well getting it up forward. The B grade skipper Leigh Keightley bobbed up and kicked 5, Tim Davey 3 and Vandy 4.

Modbury 18.11
Finders Park 14.11

Special mention to the flinders park player who did a diving smother but marked the ball in the process, stood up and ran in and slotted from 30 meters. Never seen anything like it!

Average Game of Footy at Camden Oval.

Got there at 1/4 time, apparently an even first quarter with Pembroke holding a one point lead kicking with a slight breeze.

Second quarter was frustrating (from a Phantoms supporter point of view) Pembroke seemed to work a bit harder and the skill errors from the PHOSC boys were painful to watch. Think Pembroke got out to a 21 point lead before two late "bumbled goals" got PHOSC back to 9 points at half time.

Third quarter was better from PHOSC, bit more effort and application, and the better workrate translated into a small lead at 3/4 time.

Last quarter PHOSC opened up and played their best footy, although I'd say a 7 goal win flattered them a bit. In the end I think PHOSC just had a little bit more class that got them over the line. And the fact that the Pinkneys didn't carve us as much as they usually do. ;)

Umpires were ok, few puzzling decisions both ways, but that’s football.

I think with PHOSC this year they will need to play their best footy to match the top sides - not as many "guns" as in previous years, but a few honest younger lads are getting a crack at senior footy and with that will come some inconsistency. In the words of Forrest Gump, I reckon PHOSC each week will be "like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're gonna get."
