Damn, the lids off!

We'll be in Division 1 by 2019
I'm writing my speech for the next 3 association medals
I'm measuring up Paul's suit for his knighthood

All the discussion about BL & IF, are they going to be able bridge the gap between themselves and the likes of WC even with these new players?

No - West Croydon are streets ahead already + add the players they've recruited they'll be very tough to beat.

Woody South, Adel Lutheran, Brahma Lodge, Trinity - that'll round out the 5.

Houghton and Mitchell Park wont be looking just to make up numbers either, and Yank Man has already said MP are better prepared than last time with a better list.

I'm with you there, I agree West Croydon are the team to beat. Playing last year I thought they were our hardest match up in the comp.

We ran with Smithfield and knocked off Lockleys but were never in the game against WC. If they improve on last year, look out.

I'll hold my judgement on BL until I see them, they need to improve quite a bit to make the 5 IMO.

So that now begs the question, can Ingle Farm defeat a div 1 res team?

I was tongue in cheek with my IF comment..

Agree on the WC hype, they were that far ahead of the rest, as our semi final showed.. We finished 4th and they knocked us off by combined 300 odd points, so they are starting a fair way ahead.. Woody South should improve with new coaching set up, Luthies always fairly competitive in both grades.. Should be a good year in both grades

Also reserving judgement on BL, more than just on field needed to be sorted from what I noticed last year, but can be turned around no doubt

Could probably get within ten goals of the top 5.

They started printing the t-shirts when they signed "MadDog" Greg Kells late last year. The addition of half the Para Hills premiership team was simply icing on the cake. ;) :)

Word out of the kennel is that the coach has been asked to stop using Hawthorn quotes at a div 6 club and has been sent on his level 2 coaches course. In all seriousness this will give them a huge tactical advantage over some of his adversaries and will have the Dogs very ready for the season ahead.

you are a very funny man.....all this talk and speculation and its only January.....lots of work to do to be competitive with WC, Luthies, etc...will be a very even competition

don't think luthies will be a real threat, have lost a lot of players and rely on appointed coach to bring players

If only there was a ladder for this... BL would then be living up to the pre-season hype haha
