agreed!!!

We know who started them, a bit of a case of chinese whispers, we'll be in div. 5 next season and we have some exciting news in the pipeline.

As much as i despise Smithfield on gameday, im pretty sure noone at EFC would wanna see Smitty go under. Nothing beats the Elizabeth Vs Smithfield Derbys.

But id say Elizabeth 1st, Hectorville 10th. And some bloody good teams in between.
My inbox has been overwhelmed with people enquiring about Elizabeth's new recruits. Ill only give names when they have signed and being cleared. But yeah its looking really good atm. (this saves me replying personally :p)

Don't get too carried away, nothing has been finalised and talk at this time of the year can lead to disappointment next year.
I doubt BH will go round again IMO.

He's a bit of a stalwart out there ace, it wouldn't surprise me at all for him to go and finish off out there, they do have a history of players returning for their final swansong.

LM, I know Ben from a previous stint with us and I spoke with a long time Elizabethan yesterday, it was said to me, "believe it when it happens"! No firm commitments or signings but a lot of discussions.

Fair enough, the same rumour circulated about two years ago IIRC.

Dunc

Did you go one the footy trip with the elizabeth boys. Caught the same plane as the boys and were in fine form early. Looked like it was going to be a good weekend for the boys. Seen them again at the races on saturday and a few boys look a little worse for wear. Hopefully they all made it home and had a good time.

Sounds like they're assembling a team of Div 1R standard!
