Seems bound to cause some tension with Uni's constitutional obligation not to pay players

I doubt this will get through. After the sh!t storm the initial proposal of having both sides in the SAAFL prior to the SANFL inclusion. Why would it be Pt Districts when the Power lose there zoning. Too much going on down there to be gifted this type of arrangement ;) . Stranger things have happened.

I'm hearing there's a lot of crap going on, which is the main reason for their "form slump".
Anyone heard anything, or is it just rumours?

What have you heard BOP? The list of players they have there, would suggest they should be going better than what they are?

I was told that there were a lot of players not happy with some of the selections, one in particular.

I'm sure you could find 20 other clubs that have players unhappy with some of the selections. It shouldnt stop them from winning if they have the cattle to do so.

Yeah it's something along the lines of players taking issue with the coaching staff. I actually don't know any more than that. Just what I've heard through a friend of a friend of a friend, etc.....
Just wondering if it had any credibility or not.

I think you would find most clubs would have some issues in terms of players being selected, but are you referring to coach Mark Tylor selecting son Sam Tylor.
I saw Sam was in the best players on the weekend, so that would justify the selection wouldnt it?

I doubt it.. most clubs would have a myriad of selected folk giving their 3, 2, 1's.

Why punish your own kid by not naming him in the best players if he clearly was?

My mum was our netball coach in year 6 and was probably harder on me than everyone else, probably for that reason.

i doubt the uni agrade coach would be happy, yeah sure crows take our best players

and what happens when uni get relegated to div 2

to make it fair all the div 1 clubs can be the reserves for the sanfl sides

adelaide - uni
port - port districts
norwood - rostrevor
sturt - goodwood

etc etc :)

I think so as well although, they may have juniors on their books that are zoned to Sturt.

As I said, I'm not referring to any situation in particular because I have no idea what the situation is. All I know is that someone from PD told someone I know that there were issues between the players and the coach. Anyway, it's probably nothing to worry about (since they're not the most under performing team in div 1  ).
As for Uni, I highly doubt this'll go through. Unless Uni wanna piss off into the SANFL, then I don't like the chances of it getting passed. Makes a bit of a mockery of the league. Even more than having the crows reserves side playing in div 1 as was threatened last year.

Never thought I would agree with you but I am.

If any club wants to be an AFL sides C Grade then that is their prerogative but they need to play in an AFL C Grade comp not in the SAAFL.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet
