Brutal games they were, I played where it was wet all day and I reckon we were bottom and they were top and we threw the game away in the last quater :( . Still remember Eddie Fry storming out on the ground in an earlier clash trying to kill Matchett...... Were alot of decent blows thrown in those matches :shock:

Yeah I must say I was a metre away when he copped a bloody big hit, it would have put most on a stretcher and to hospital. Just looked at the bloke and said "You don't see me squealing". Fair to say as a 16 year old at the time I was hoping he would not retaliate on me :lol:
