This would be the 3rd retirement for the great man then. He must get a gold watch or something every time he retires.

Not sure if this has been confirmed but Mark Watts to coach Pooraka and with hopefully a few players returning to the club the bulls will be around the mark again.

If Wattsy has been appointed, good call by Pooraka. Top bloke and will have the respect of the guys there that know him from before he went to Hamilton.

Mark Watsy Watts is a top guy, great player and will be a fantastic coach. He was my captain through my Juniors at the Dogs and he was an inspirational character!

I can confirm Mark Watts has been appointed as A grade coach for Pooraka next year.
I can also confirm Lee Coghill will return along with Adam Greaves.

There is also two other big names that are almost certain to return, one playing div 1 in 2008 but I will keep them under raps at the moment. Don't like naming people until they have signed . . . . . . . To be Continued!

My prediction for top 5 this year in no particular order:

Top 3 4-6 7-8 Relegation
Pooraka Fitzroy North Haven CBC
Golden Grove Salisbury Adelaide Lutheran Salisbury West
PAOC Greenacres

7th and 8th North Haven and Adelaide Lutheran
Relegation CBC and Salisbury West

Bring on 09 I'm pumped

You have tipped the 2 grand finalists of 2006 to finish Bottom.
CBC will not be relegated, and I dare say neither will Salisbury West.

Salisbury west will not be in the bottom 2 this year. Your dreaming. They are to strong of a club. With there backs against the wall this year I will be expecting Salisbury West to be up the pointy end of the table.

I think you'd be closer to the mark if you had it all upside down, apart from a couple of spots, Westies & CBCOC will finish top 3 or 4, Westies have an impeccable record in div. 4, the dolphins will excell with Jarman at the helm.

Its to hard to tip atm who will be where
but i think north haven will finish higher then 7th or 8th
and the same with salisbury west
cant see them being relegated 2 divs in 2 years!!

if i had to tip anyone going down
i would say greenacres and adelaide lutheran to go down
remainder of sides could finish anywhere from 1st to 8th!!
get on board the thunder train!!!

It's only October, so a lot can happen, but my early thoughts of this division is that it promises to be very exciting, I can see many upsets and I think the top 5 wont be decided til round 18, I remember a couple of years ago div. 5 had 6 or 7 teams that could still make the finals going into the last round, Ingle Farm played Smithfield in the last round for minor premiership, the Farmers won and Smithfield dropped to 4th or 5th. Could be very similar.
