didn't Greg Anderson get Gaza to a couple of Preliminary finals,perhaps the players let him down on the big stage. Seemed no problem him winning a flag at Cove(their first ever)He might not be a great coach,(according to a lot of experts) however the Gepps Cross side he has at the moment is far and away limited on talent compared to the previous sides under Jacko and Rawlo. Perhaps the problem is deeper than the coach,but at the end of the day most coaches tenures are driven by the win/loss ratio sadly
An interesting observation arises from the above and previous posts in relation to what a coach brings to a club other than his past playing history. If you look at the past 3 Gepps Cross coaches, there is one glaring anomaly;
Neil Rawlings 14 recruits
Sean Jackson 1 recruit
Greg Anderson 1 recruit
Does this suggest some are prepared to work harder at improving a club's list of players than the others? I think the answer and the result is in the above numbers.

EB53 correct me if I am wrong but what I remember was the Budget for players when Jacko took over from Neil was halved. Perhaps that mightn't have helped recruiting either.Jacko would be one of the hardest working coaches recruiting wise I have ever known.Don't know about Andersons budget so can't comment on his recruiting abilityPlus homegrown Gepps Cross lads walking out the door certainly doesn't help. As I said the problems may be deeper than the coach
Have to agree, Sean jackson may not be able to count to 18
