Just looking at the poll here, does anyone really beleive a college team could win the A5 Premiership, with Greenacres to be runner up, what a joke!

Didn't get my vote...

go the mighty blacks

From all reports (or rumours, if you must) Blackfriars will struggle to make the five this year. Some big outs and some uncertainty about the coaching staff and whether or not they're up for the challenge could see their great run come to a screaming halt...

we'll see SD21. internal trials over last two weekends have looked pretty good. We're up for the challenge so i'm not expecting any screaming halts but anything can happen.

who are you backing for the div5 flag?

We all know it's not, but what he was eluding to was whether or not 18 people "actually" think blackfriars will win the flag. It's a surprising number for a side coming up a division and losing key players as well as changing coaches...

Eastern Park played Angle Vale in a trial last week and was told most of A/Vale players where ex Smithfield......................whats going on with that? Has there been a fall out with the coach/Club?
Is Oldie still coaching out there?

Steve De Jager, last year our B grade coach is now coaching Angle Vale, and has taken roughly 20 players with him to Angle Vale. But we havent lost any players from our A grade that we are worried about, most of them were all B graders.

So this year, we now have a chance to play a lot of U'18's in the B's with a few older guys coming back to play for the club, such as Mick Moss and Mark Lord which will hopefully help with the development of our younger players. So the B's may struggle, im not sure, but at least we should find some good players hopefully.

Oh and yes Oldie is still the coach of the A's!!!

Phil Carr trained out with us tonight. Did well. Seemed to fit in.
Should slip straight into an a-grade squad of 25 players for saturday night

Buzz can you tell me how Quinn's weight is going, has he digested Browny yet??
Who are Rosewater playing in trials.
This heat wave would be ideal for him to lose that tyre around his waste, no doubt he'd be in for a "Goodyear!" :butthead: :yawinkle:
