Yeah , Bruce is running around again. You are right, great bloke, and very courageous player (He will love me writing that, i know he reads this forum  ). A couple of Bruce's mates have been out and trained, dont think they have played for you guys for a couple of years.

Does that give you any hints?

Felch with all these new players to club will Portland still be under the salary cap?

It does help Felch, you portland guys love your cryptic messages though , I not sure what the big secret is? If you want to keep your cards close to your chest fair enough but the season starts in 2 weeks we will find out eventually and its not as if we will try to approach them, our team is set to go, besides we are already pretty close to our 1.5 million salary cap

Brucey is pretty hard Felch, good left foot too when he has it under control, looking forward to seeing him at the local derby.

Not so much a secret mate, im just not a huge fan of plastering blokes names all over this website, especially when they are new to the club and may not even play. If it was a secret, i would not have even mentioned it in the first place.

Anyway, you know who im talking about now, so i have answered your question - even if it was cryptic :?

Sorry to post this on the Portland thread but i was speaking to someone from Fitzroy, and from what i can tell they have there tires well and truly pumped up after a premiership season!
Apparently a young side with a couple of stars (brothers i believe, really not to sure, didnt pay the best attention). Basically the guy loved telling me how well there gonna do this year!! Talk about dribble!! There going to want to be at least 5 times better this season then in 06 to avoid relagation. Is that the case?

Is BIG BEN HEART still playing out there??

Heard Ben Harts knees had finally caught up with him but I wouldnt be suprised to see him playing. Fitzroy are always handy on that bizaar oval of theirs but usually struggle at our ground so not too worried about them.

I wouldnt be under-estimating anyone, especially not Fitzroy. I know they were ordinary when they were last in D4, but they had a shocking year, with injuries and player numbers in general. Its amazing what a bit of success can do - all of a sudden guys are keen to play again, and confidence grows from there.

Fitzroy could be a darkhorse !

Ben Hart may never be the same player he was, but he'll still provide a target up forward- still gotta respect the man, despite his knees.

Silent Bob- who was spruiking off about how good we are?
I can assure you that we know how hard it's gonna be, & the focus this year will be to avoid relegation.
