don't forget Heuskes too!

Just for your information SH, we would have loved to have had a club full of people like Adam because he was certainly not there for his own personal gain nor did he ever do anything but play for the love of the jumper at Gepps Cross.
You obviously know nothing about him or how good he was for the Gepps Cross footy club as a junior and when he came back from Brisbane and played and coached.

I'd take 1 more like him a long time before I'd take 10 like you who's initials could well stand for something quite different to what it currently does.

You are all missing the point. The big rumour mill always comes out about what Gepps or Sals Nth are paying their players. Good on them if they can afford it, but clubs like Goodwood with a team of Superstars are getting paid a fortune and nobody even mentions them. It just astounds me how the other two clubs (Gepps and Salisbury Nth) are always had a go at while Goodwood escape under the radar all the bloody time. it is so frustrating. The same is now happening with Henley. "Poor Goodwood and poor Henley, we dont pay a thing" - that is absolute crap. If you believe that well you are still in love with Father Christmas and the Easter Bunny.

Read more carefully and you would have understood the points I was making more clearly. Has it registered now???
The violins are playing for Goodwood and Henley as they certainly only have players who play for the love of the jumper - Yeh right
Nobody ever said Heuskes or Smith never were well paid, but you Goody and Henley people make me sick with the Holy than now attitude of "we never pay anyone - they only play with the mates" What a crock of crap[/quote]

Who cares!! Every Div1 club pays their players, why is that such a big deal ?

He didn't look too bad, a bit like me (overweight) but so are some of the others, mind you, training in the heat will soon get it off them. That's why I sit in the bar Moz.

Think they are looking ok. Lost about 3-4 A Graders I think but have recruited about 4 blokes with solid SANFL league expereince. Would think they would finish lower end of the table

Why does everyone still put Salis/North in the same boat as Gepps with the money talk
we stopped paying stupid money when Pitt and Pascoe left
besides Cutting and Jordan no big cash players out there

Lads, you're showing some signs of lack of knowledge about Gepps Cross too and being rather sweeping with your statement.

If you are not 100% sure about things, it's best to remain quiet about the subject

If people had to be 100% sure about things, there wouldn't be a forum.

MP recruits from SANFL clubs dont come for 150 bucks a game they come for alot more.... how many have they recruited??? also players from the countyr eg. Mclean who is a gun would not come cheap.

like lads we at Modbury also rely on our young kids who have come through the junior grades and now have an A2 premiership and other finals experience.
