Why thank you for including me OE, however I will try not to do anything silly like passing judgement on a team I haven't seen play.

Oh Oh is that the sound of a pacifier hitting the floor

I'll have 2 hungey on Hectorville and $80 on Salisbury to cover my Hectorville bet. Could go either way in the GF ;)

Would that be 3 in a row for Hectorville?

Looking forward to having a look at Heccies in action ...sound like they may be the real deal... along with Elizabeth,Unley,Salisbury....

Having said that I think we found it a bigger step up than we thought..and the Grovers would agree I rekon... quicker, bigger bodies etc and took a season to find our feet... just my opinion tho 8)

so its going to be a grand final preview come round 1?

I had dinner with the president on sunday he thinks they will be around the mark, could be optimism or they may have a shot, got a few old heads back there I hear and their younger players are coming along he says. Mind you I dont think he has been out to training by the looks of him ;) As an ex-player I would love to see Kilburn make the doubters eat thier words, it has been a pretty big slide for a very proud club.

I caught up with him about a month ago and he said the same thing, perhaps that's his motive behind the role, to lock in a position haha

Nah, wouldnt guarantee him a spot, besides that he would have no-one to blame for the eventual poor form that came ;) In all seriuosness I am hoping that he does well in the role to be honest, I caught up with JP a few months back and he lead me to believe that it was deffinately not a role he enjoyed!

Yeah agreed I think he'll do a great job of it, pretty tough gig but I think he'll stick to his guns and make sure things are done properly.

Re the previous posts on odds for the finals, I would think Kilburn would be around the 7/1 to 10/1 chance. Would expect them to have their best year for some time but don't know enough of the other teams to be too confidant. Top 6 certainly.
