Not much heard about Elizabeth on this forum so far. So for those interested, I wouldn't write the boys off just yet. Halliday has not returned but apart from losing a couple of A graders (a couple of the Kersbrook lads, of which only 2 were regulars), the rest of the side is intact, plus with the return of Dave Rogers and a couple of others. All key players are fit and ready to go. Although only a div 6 side, thrashed Trinity Old Scholars by close to 20 goals in only trial so far. Playing Two Wells this week. Should be around the mark again in 08 after a disappointing 07.

No, Big Benny is still at Salisbury North, however our ruck stocks have improved with Stobbe returning after a good year with North Haven A's and Frank Dolensky from tTrinity adding depth. Dogwatcher, Is Rogers ever fit??? He still finds the footy! He's trained pretty hard most of the pre season and will miss the first few games and will slot back nicely when he's ready. Also picked up a half back from Salisbury West A's who looks quite good and a bloke called Nicko who hasn't played for a few years however was a past A grade multiple leading goal kicker at Gawler Centrals. Looked good in the trial, kicked heaps. Also pretty much two new recruits in Cotter and Dave Ellis who missed most of the last couple of seasons from injury. We'll be around the mark.

Always glad to hear the boys will be around the mark.
How's Fabio looking for 08? Any sign of Pickers?

Fabio is always looking good! Not the same for Pickering though, who will be resigned to orange peeling duties if we see him at the club. His body is stuffed!! Yank still mumbles and Ben Jackman is still with the eagles, coming back from a successfull operation. Darnell is at Eastern Park but the big fella might find it a bit hard out there unless he can improve his fitness, struggled with us last year.

Has anyone else heard the Rumour that a newly appointed B Grade coach for 2008,
has pulled the pin? Think it may have been a case of Round Peg - Square Hole.
