Only saw the 1st quarter but I could see early it was going to be a romp. Apprantly we kicked the first goal of the game and that was it. Not sure how many players the C's had but I know we 6 that backed up after playing B grade.

Obviously continuing on from his fine form in the coaches box The two players were wrestling right in front of our coaches box and the umpire told them to cut it out. The North Haven player then threw two punches right in front of the ump (with his back to the NH coaches box so they wouldn't have seen them) He was lucky to only get a yellow IMO.

As for the lights, he's probably right. We did kick 17 points, maybe it would have been 25.10 if it didn't get dark? The umpiring wasn't the best, but if it appeared one-sided, that's because HV were always first to the ball so of course we were getting all the frees! The NH coach should pull his head in and not blame everything else except maybe his coaching and his team's lack of discipline and ability...

Going on previous results and ladder positions, the ladder should pretty much stay the same as it is by Round 18. The Round 17 Plympton v Hope Valley clash should decide who finishes 2nd if results go as expected. Uni v Flinders Pk could go either way and will give the winner a mental edge for when they meet in the Elimination Final 2 weeks later. It was good to see the Plympton v AL result on saturday, proves this comp perhaps isn't the one horse race that many thought it was...

very good write up... Should be a very interesting 3 weeks coming into finals. i personally reckon all sides in the 5 are capable of going all the way... IMHO. However i still have AL as favs...
Quick query, come finals time would all games be triple headers??? obviously for the exception isf uni play flinders park... i know this may seem a silly question, however saafl are prone to do silly things... just wondering on peoples opinions. i personally agree with the triple header come finals, i think it would be the obvious thing to do,,,

C Grades always play finals on Sundays
So that they can have 2-3 games at a ground where they can charge entry e.g. Kilburn, Payneham, St Marys
