I dont like Club Bashing but today i was disgusted by Central United, one of our players was in need of a stretcher and the CU officials instead of getting the stretcher were standing on the sidelines abusing the player who went down, now i dont care about what the crowd says and the general banter from the benches but when a player goes down and needs a stretcher the officials should just shut up and do what needs to be done. If my club had that response to a player going down i would be pretty disappointed.

Looks like shit has hit the fan at CU... They must have played well today but all was forgotten at the club tonight. A dominant A grade midfielder and a B grade player almost coming to blows over a number of insults directed at the A grader... Then being instinctful, the A grade players missus stepped it up in defence of her man and started blewing the B graders mum.... lol... jerry jerry jerry... orevwa to another good player at there club....

Hey for a side that had 9 changes from the week before and 6 under 18's playing, Modbury did extremely well to beat Athelstone on there home deck. Yes Div 7 is a step up from what we are use to, but sides underestimate the hawks spirit. I'm sure this year will be a close one, Mawson lakes seem to be the yard stick so far! It'll be a close finish for the top sides and the only thing splitting them will be percentage. Makes for a good year of footy! Well done to the teams that won today! Looking forward to a good hard faught competition. Rounds 5 and 7 will sort things out. And we'll all have a good idea of the team to beat by then. Happy hunting!

Today's game was a hard slog and one of a epic proportion. Both sides played with intense desperation for the pill and despite the atrocious umpiring battled to the end. With decent umpires and a neutral ground the result could have gone either way. The Athelstone D graders that got involved in the third quarter fracas need to have a good look at themselves. There is no room for spectators getting involved in a heated game of footy. If you want to get involved at a higher grade put on a jumper and take the field otherwise sit back and enjoy your beer! Well done to the young Modbury boys that stood up today. A week is a long time in the footy world, You non-believers!!!!!!!!!

Massively disappointed in the conduct of Central United yesterday....I'm all for opposition clubs/teams/supporters intimidating visiting teams and making their home ground a cauldron but some of the incidents (not going to go into it on here) which occured was nothing short of disgraceful!

Umpires didn't help the situation on field, they looked to scared to pay a free kick against CU all day...even admitted to seeing frees off the ball but not calling them.

Yesterday had the potential to get very much out of control i'm just glad some people had some cool heads.

The crabs lost most, if not all, of their spine from last year.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Adelaide Uni are definately the benchmark. Quite a few B graders in their side. They are youthful and full of height and run. Most points yesterday were rushed behind. The score really didnt reflect the game. Very close most of day. All credit to Adelaide Uni who played very good footy.
