FFS, if a player has played the majority of games in the A grade of a SAAFl club and moves to another SAAFL club he is worth 2 points.
Unless a Junior or the other reasons come into play.

Is that right, the SAAFL has implemented it's own rule for internal transfers, you can get a Div1 A-Grader for only 2 points and a Div1 B-grader for 0 points?

If you were getting a transfer from another SAAFL club to Kilburn and had not played for 2 seasons and last played majority A grade games, you would be a 0 pointer

What a joke, should be the same rules across the board, else it does not work

So the league encourages clubs to poach off of each other rather than from clubs outside of your league :? Makes lots of sense

As defined by the CFB

Players from SAAFL Div1-3 = 3 points
Players from SAAFL D1R-D3R = 2 points
Players from SAAFL D4 down (A-Grade) = 2 points

That is a rule for the SAAFL only. A couple of Div 1 & 2 clubs had their depth raided by country clubs. They got enough support to implement a rule change. Only applies to transfers out of SAAFL, within the league they are zero. Might not be around for much longer as some lower division clubs have cottoned on to this anomaly....

I would have thought it was beneficial to the league to have these D1R/D2R players stay in the SAAFL rather than go bush?

Just got told this. Looking at the ladder, this is what it shows.

Apparently, they are now on even thinner ice with the league.

Think not tomo. How the hell can they let this happen. They could come from 7th and still win the flag. Staggered.

Had a under 18's player reported for abusing umpires x 2, he received 4 games + (4) suspended, so they must have a been on a system by the league if any one at the club is reported they will loose the same amount points in the the top team. Maybe thats why they forfeited the 18's on the weekend because they can't afford any more suspensions??

If they get any more suspensions they might not make the finals.
