Maybe, we're not getting our hopes up though. It was all talked about last year as well and nothing happened.

Have just spoken to a bloke from EFC, has been there a number of years. They had a meeting at their club last night (Thursday) where the move to SFL was discussed and they ARE moving to the SFL.

Golding will stay on as coach, he will co-coach with a guy who is affiliated with the SFL, previously coached at Reynella.

Not exactly sure but they either voted or asked the playing group if there was any objections and there wasn't, well no one was willing to put their hand up anyway. Would only be a matter of time...

I'm not questioning your info, it just seems like Groundhog Day with these stories, it would be nice to see it official and put an end to the speculation. I'm sure it will make zedman a little less agitated.

On a more important note, where did you come up with your user-name, that's a classic, reminds me of some 70's porn.

I was wondering why 2 choices, I didn't read the question though, I think 1 is ample.

Punky, it might pay to get hold of Mr Shadiac and put this baby to rest.

Team nominations for each club have to be in to the SAAFL by October 31st. We are likely to know more definitively after that date.

For sure, I hate speculation, rumours etc. If I have a question, I ask, it offends people sometimes, but it's how I deal with things.

The team nominations by the end of Oct is an interesting topic from our POV ...considering SAAFL to my knowledge haven't made up their minds about the 17's and 19's issue and the possibility of teams staying up if they finished 9th

I would think you would still nominate for Div 5 bearing in mind the EFC matter. If that falls through the league will just slot you back into Div 6.
