Yeah sorry Schimma, Does it each and every single week. Is not a bad footballer but this year seems to be in all sorts of a mess. I dont think he understands what controlled aggression or hard at the ball and body means. Playing C grade at C3 level you expect better than the s***t that is sometimes served up, C grade should be about pumping the kids in that are not quite up to B grade yet, the lads that want to have a few cans after the match (sometimes during as well) having a kick and a bit of a laugh and a few Pensioners teaching and providing support to the young lads. If you want to punch on, go play D7R, or better yet, go Box, the footy field is no place for fists. There are other ways to have an impact and let the opposition know you are out there!

fisty this number 5 was very loose from the opening bounce. was funny to watch as he took on a young lad that was laughing at him while number 5 just kept swinging. once he got sent off he was ok from all reports.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Sorry mate, cant agree. Clubs are better off playing kids in the B grade, leave the C grade for has-beens and never-weres. Dont get a bighead Schimma ( ;) ) but i think SMOSH have got it pretty right. Their B grade is a young, quality side, and their C's are also a very good side but are older guys, who dont want to give the full commitment. Ability wise, there is not much difference between the 2, in fact, IMO, SMOSH's C grade would probably beat their B grade. First and foremost, B grade should be there to feed the A's, and ideally, only blokes who have the potential to play A grade sometime in the future should be in it. Realistically this can't happen, but it still should be a club's goal.

After the belting we suffered in round 2. I have not seen Walkerville do too much like that. I think we could get our second win this season. Got some good ins this week. As i posted in the Div 3 thread if we can stop their run we should be able to stay and hopefully win. Can anyone on here shed some light on what has been happening at walkerville since then. They have only 6 wins in which i thought they would be like there b grade and be un defeated at this stage of the comp. I dont think they would be too far from that form?

Sorry to speak with my mouth full but my own words are dribbling out as i say this. Yes im eating my words :( They were far to good for us. There run as i mentiomed above was excellent. Our blokes were not able to chase but there was some good things done by us. Far too inaccurate infront of goal. Our forward kicked 1.5 i think he'll need to get a bit of practice in at training this week.  ;)

Up against smosh this week will test us to the point of by how much i think. With out sounding like we are givimg up already but you have to be realistic when your form is no where near what it should be.

Quick shout out to Walkies coach and the forward (sotty mate i forgot the name). Had a qucick chat with me after the game. Great blokes. Hope they do well for the rest of the season

Wow we finally got a run on the board. The game had pretty much everything in it. Great start buy the maggies and we stayed with until 3 1/4 time. 4 goals down i think we were at the break and ended up winning by 4 goals. Awesome effort by our blokes really dug deep and i think if we had put that sort of stuff together during the year we would not be in the position we are now.

Now the bad stuff. Both sides had there fair share of un disciplined acts. We only had 3 or 4 blokes sent off because we were'nt as good hiding the hits as salisbury was. The umps really didnt have control over much of the game. Their ump was and being as diplomatic as possible a cheat. And the salisbury bloke said the same thing. This guy had not put himself in the right position and never caled what was supposed to be. Our ump trie to do better but he did what he had to. Honestly the guy needs to just worry about whats there instead trying to influence the game in a negative way. I was struck again this week and their ump saw it. I asked if he was going to send him off and he said no it wasnt a good enough strike. Now please tell me anyone what thehell that means? He blew the whistle when h saw it and then said to me after i asked him why he blew the whistle and this was his rely. I was just stopping the play because you were going to hit him back. I want to break you to up. Mind you im just getting up off the ground from another cheap shot to the head. Anyway the guys a joke and atleast his own clubs players thought the same. I'd be writing the same if we lost but we didnt and i almost forgot what it felt like. It was a great effort from the boys and hope we can continue to produe the same for the last few games

Saw the funniest thing I've almost ever seen on a football field in the game at Portland on Saturday. With an all-in brawl in front of the scoreboard, involving every player on the ground, one Portland bloke backed away and grabbed the ball which was sitting in the goalsquare, as a point ahd been kicked before the scuffle. He went down to the goalsquare, kicked the ball to himself and played on (without the umpires looking at him, as they were trying to break the melee up). The bloke thought he was going to run the length of the ground and kick a goal, one of our guys spotted him and ran over to put a bit of pressure on, and the Portland bloke tried to handball over our guy's head. He then proceeded to trip over himself, give the ball up and turn around to watch our bloke kick a goal.

To that Portland bloke, mate, you can't restart the game without the umpire. But we appreciated the comic relief all the same.

Great game from the boys on the weekend. We played some great footy. We really should have won by alot more. It wassaid that Woody South had stacked their C grade side. Alot of the players form previous game earlier in the year were not there. Can this be made truth or not? If they did it didnt make any difference. I thouhgt we have started to put together the patches of footy from past games to gether to play a good game. Its just when we are up against the harder running sides we struggle. We do struggle to get numers at training so that would be the reason. Good spread of goal scorers too which is good to see. Just hope we can getanohter win from the last 2 to take into next year.

Saw the game between Old Iggnations and Portland on the weekend. Portland were okay but only showed up with 10 or so players which terrible for a club at a division three level. I also saw one of the poorest most distatseful job of umpiring from not just one of the umpires. The older umpire had sent a player from portland off for saying that the goal was the umpires doing. The umpire said it was abusive language. Hardly, to add to the spectacle the player then didnt leave the ground for whatever reason. Out of defiance i would suggest. Then the umpire was having a go at him and then the player called him the traditional f word and added idiot to it and the umpire than wanted to call the game off because the player looked at him aggresively and threatened his life. I was sitting with one of the iggnations officials and he could not believe what was tranpiring. Terrible control by ignnations umpire. I would suggest that he resigns from his post as there wont be too many more people with the resiliance that this player had holding him self back. It has also been noted on the SAAFL website that he has been reported for the insident. Surely it would be thrown out. I do not want to publish the players name on here but he wore the number two guernsey

Almost as terrible as the display of footy Iggies displayed in the A & B grade...

Lay off, we still fielded a side when im sure a lot of other clubs would have forfeited. Get over it...

Guy who was reported is a regular poster on here, i know he is dirty on himself.

Cant really comment Solid until the process has taken place. I will however say that the charge is an outrages accusation. I want to play next year even coach and will not be happy if this stops that from happening. Thats all i will say. Have to say that your comment on the numbers in the side are a bit harsh. When you are up against it week in week out it does get harder to get motivated. The blokes that did show. Thanbks for not sitting on your behind
