This has been said for the last 10-15 years. There is still a 20 goal gap between top tier div 1 and top tier sanfl.

Be interesting in another 20 years time (if the SANFL still exists anywhere near its present form)

“If it exists in 20 years” is a separate thing.
But if it does, then the 20goal gap would still exist. No doubt about it.

Goodwood Saints 10.9 Flaggies 9.10 - after Goody Saints up by 45 points at half time, 7 goals to 1 in 2nd half, Flaggies would have won with another couple of mins on the clock.

Good day of footy across all 5 grades.

ATHELSTONE Football Club shelled out more than $124,000 on “senior football expenses” including player payments last season despite a financial audit revealing it is about $118,000 in debt to Campbelltown Council.

**** me, that's a decent sized senior football budget with a $54k salary cap

Does that include footys, umpires fees, trainer payments, coach wages, etc?

Club is so disappointed with this article. A cheap shot of the highest order.

The senior football budget for 4 teams (including U18's) includes player payments, coach and trainer expenses, football equipment including footballs, affiliation fees, umpires fees, gym equipment lease, oval hire, medical, trophies and a host home final fee. So there you go for those interested. Nothing to hide here.
