I heard that a couple of blokes from Salisbury West were headed to North Haven. One of them had kicked a bag last year. Believe Robinson kicked 110 so maybe he fits the description.

Yeah, i heard the same thing. Salisbury West had a couple of high goal kickers though, so im not sure who. I wouldnt have thought players would want to leave Salisbury West - i reckon they will be very competitive this year too. They were streets ahead of everyone in D4 in 2006.

Of course they were, cos they were handed a bloody premiership as a punishment instead of being blackballed like they should have been

that 2005 grand final was the worst thing in sport i have ever seen. absolute disgrace. the club shud have been banned for at least a yr! some of the most cowardly things ive seen on a football field...

If a side of our calibre played in div 4, we'd look good too...

they would have kept their noses clean for 2 reasons..

a) no reason to play fisty cuffs when its all going your way; and

b) the security at most of their games resembled that of a queens visit from what I heard, plus they were under the spotlight... i dont think they had much choice.

So much for getting rid of the scum, those Creek ferals didnt get kicked out after all...

Agreed FC, things did go there way all year and there was SAAFL officials at most, if not all there games. I didnt see for myself what happened in 2005, but have heard lots about. Having played against SW for many years, it didnt surprise me. I think only one of the Creeks is there now. I reckon you guys have the last laugh anyhow - getting yourself into D2 is a great effort, especially from where you were in 2004. Remember playing against PNU then and your A grade was very ordinary. Hats off to the club for getting your act together.

That is the funniest thing I have ever read!!! "The security at most of the games resembled that of a queens visit". That is taking it a little far dont you think?

I do agree that Salisbury West were watched closley by the league but lets not get carried away here.

Gee it must have been pretty bad if it is the worst thing you have EVER seen in sport. Either that or you havent watched much sport, I have seen some bad things in all sports & I can say that the game you are talking about was not good but wasnt the worst thing to ever happen in sport.
